My Paradise in every sense of the word. Comandatuba is a fun, peaceful and extraordinary island in Bahia, Brazil. You can have a direct flight and land close to the island. Don't miss the sunset which is always amazing. The coconut tree garden is the lerfect place for a bike ride, to play with kids, for a run or walk...

There is a "combo - flight + hotel" that last 7 days. We had some problems on both flights from Azul Airlines. When going to Comandatuba, we had to wait more than 5 hours and when returning, more 3 hours. Although this is not a Hotel problem, the flight is sold together. Regarding the hotel, the food is the differential....

It was not hell, but you expect to have a perfectly functioning system for the price paid. I was on a sales convention and...

We stayed in the hotel for one week and I can say its one of the best resorts in Brazil. Very good for sports, a lot of tennis courts, a 25m swimming pool, soccer and many water sports. The beach is beautiful and very good for a walk or run. The rooms are big and the service excelent.

The Transamerica Hotel at Ilha de Comandatuba is one of my family's favorite destinations. We have been coming here in the past 12 years, at least once a year. The facilities are very good, with many options of activities (beach, pool, water sports, tennis, fishing, etc.). The food is delicious and the desserts are heaven!!! The service is excellent, very...

For people with young children this must be about as good as it gets. Loads for the children to do with monitors to look after them and get them involved in all sorts of activities from plantng trees, fishing for crabs in the mangrove swamp to go-karting, football, etc, etc. The only snag was none of the monitors spoke English...

Obviously the beach is an attraction itself. The restaurant is also amazing, offering good options in all meals. The price is high but the quality of the service and experience it's at...
