My wife was working locally and so I piggy backed a short break onto it. The weather was atrocious with high winds and rain and it was quite cold so bear that in mind. The inn is situated in the village of Wolfs castle west Wales roughly half way between haverford west and Fishguard (approx 7 miles to each )... More

Fantastic quaint pub with lots if character and good accommodation. Very friendly and helpful staff with high standards in all areas of hospitality. Varied menu choices all reasonably priced quality ingredients and cooked to perfection! Breakfast was also of a high quality. Not extensive choice but quite sufficient. Stayed in The Keep - immaculately clean, very comfortable bed, small fridge... More

I can only presume the bad reviews had got the wrong establishment or were just plain picky! My partner and I have just returned from 5 days at the Wolfe Inn. I have not been to this area for over 40 years, and I shall not leave it so long again. The position of the Inn is perfect for visiting... More

Called in off-spec for sunday lunch at 3.30 in the afternoon. Completely welcoming and found us a table quickly. Good, plain, homecooked food at very reasonable prices: roast beef with yorkshires and all the trimmings, steak & kidney pudding, chicken... you get the picture. All staff were friendly and obviously enjoy their work. Well worth a visit.

3 of us went for dinner on an awful day of weather. Things brightened up as we were served 3 very different mains - sea bass with all the trimmings, chicken with enormous salad and a pork dish in cider. Very substantial and well cooked and served. At £40 for the three of us including wine, it was extremely reasonable.... More

Great food, polite helpful staff and the landlord is a gentleman. When you eat here just make sure you are hungry as the portions are very generous and very tasty! What more could anyone want so do yourself a favour and eat here.

Had a lovely meal with three other people on Sat early eve. The food was well presented and enjoyed by all. Good selection of vegetables with the home made fish pie, the gammon with sausages went down really well, the comment was that the sausages were delicious and the chips piping hot and cooked to perfection. The sticky toffee pudding... More

The three of us ate at the Wolfe Inn on a Sunday evening. The found is pretty standard pub fayre but it's hot, tasty and great value. My wife and I shared the starter platter of onion rings, chicken dippers, bread and potato dippers, while our daughter went straight for a sirloin steak. The steak was well cooked, perfectly medium... More
