Great stay well worth the money

My wife and I were passing through. We had one of the motel unit very clean, good beds. A very peaceful place. People were friendly, this lodge doesn't feel like your standard motel it feels more like a lodge in the pines. We will be back!

That issue with the shower not draining? YUK> I have seen this before at hotels/motels and it is almost always caused by HAIR IN DRAIN + greasy, waxy conditioners.... This is something the owners and house keepers can easily fix by #1 tool: Get a crochet hook and pull the clog out of the drain & throw away. It is gross, but should your PAYING GUEST do it? Secondly: It may take a PLUMBER giving it the ole' snake, and sometimes just a super-harsh chemical called "Hair & Grease" poured down the offending drain. Regardless HOW it is fixed; it is an issue that management/housekeeping/owners all have chosen to ignore! Why would a motel owner do that? Answer: They just don't care. After reading Amy E's review - and knowing that the slow/no drainage issue is easily, though admittedly perhaps not cheaply fixed - Thanks for heads up Amy, I will pass this motel on by.

My husband and I did NOT have this problem and did not write that review. We had a wonderful stay in May and had no problems with anything in our cabin during our stay. Sorry you feel this way because of one bad review.
