We traveled by Land Cruiser across the desert and to the camp. Our driver was great - good natured, friendly, English-speaking (Hasan, I believe). Shortly after arriving at the camp and settling into our rooms, we took our camel ride (20 - 30 minutes), to a dune where we

Hi Jean, As you pointed out that you're going to be in Merzouga a day before camel trekking, and since you have the vehicle so enjoy making students visit a village that called Khamlia, there they will attend a gnaoua music in the morning after breakfast, then i suggest to visit them Rissani (far a way to Merzouga 35 kms) because in April 26 is Sunday ,there is a big market (souk) and may be you will prepare for them for lunch Pizza ( in Arabic MEDFOUNA) but to swim in the lake i don't suggest ,because there's mud, and some places are deep and dragged. For desert trip ,we will meet in Hassi labied (it's before Merzouga 5 kms) and you will start around 17H riding camels, and each one prepare just small backpack (it's easy for camels). Ok i will arrange for you sandboard to enjoy little in the dunes near the camp. If you need more info don't hesitate to contact or to call me. You are welcome anytime Mohammed
