This is a must do experience if you are visiting Canada's west coast. We did the four day package from Vancouver which involves an overnight stay in Campbell River (pleasant in its own right) and then two nights at the lodge before returning to Vancouver. The 30 minute float plane flight into Glendale Cove is very scenic and upon landing... More

HOTEL’S FAVORITE REVIEW

If there is one luxury in life you should treat yourself to it is the experience of Knight Inlet Lodge. The staff are amazing. Their love for bears and the environment is obvious and they do everything in their power to ensure that their guests have a great stay and get the maximum out of their experience. It is expensive... We spent 3 nights at the lodge, there are no words to describe the beauty of the location of this Lodge, heaven on earth. The service was impeccable. The logistics of organizing the excursions was Flawless. We saw Grizzly bears galore in their marital habitat. Also saw bald head Eagles and other birds. They have a marine tour which we... More

Went hoping to see grizzly bears and boy did Knight inlet deliver. We saw bears swimming, play fighting, running, mums and Cubs big and small, fishing in fact over 20 different sightings in 3 days. Then there were the killer whales, humpbacks and bald eagles. Not to mention great food, kayaking, swimming and great sea plane experience. Thanks to all... More

We were really lucky with how many bears we saw up close and it was an amazing experience. All of the staff are fantastic and we felt really safe and secure at all times. The marine life cruise was fantastic too. We saw him hump backed, orcas, Dolphins, sea lions. Again felt very safe with Paul driving. The staff were... More

My partner and I stayed at Knight Inlet Lodge for 2 nights (+ 1 night in Campbell River) in July. This place does an incredible job as an eco tourism operator, the whole experience really is very special. The float plane journey is an epic beginning to the Knight Inlet adventure, as you fly into the longest fjord on the... More

Absolutely great experience, well organised and all the staff so friendly. Bears fantastic, wow! Food good quality, all day tea, coffee, hot chocolate and soft drinks available along with yummy cookies. Rooms 1 big bed and bunk beds, all waterproofs, welly boots and flotation devices provided. Only small negative was one of the staff suggested fishing and when we went... More

From the moment I saw the small sea plane at Campbell River the adventure began, and what a flight out to Knight Inlet! Your accommodation is clean with good amenities but the view from the deck (our front door) was just stunning. It is not just trips out (3 per day) to see the Grizzlies (close up) but kayaks, fast... We've had a very exiting week at Knight Inlet Lodge. We saw lots of eagles and grizzlies. Accomodation was very family friendly and the meals highly appreciated. Even if this is defined as "not beeing holiday" it was extraordinary.

We had high expectations of our visit to Knights Inlet. From the moment we arrived at the airplane terminal nothing disappointed. A wonderful float plane trip followed by 24 hours if well orchestrated activity. We saw many bears, including tiny cubs in the most magical of settings...whole bear soap operas played out in front of us. Hours spent on the... More
