Hi there. Mosquitos are not a big problem at the lodge but if you do wish to bring a repellent we ask that it be low or no scent variety as the bears are quite sensitive to different scents.

We drove from Vancouver to Campbell river but I imagine that the bus/ coach journey would be relatively similar. The roads are good and once you get past Courtney there is very little traffic. Lovely scenery all the way.
