Getaway Cottages are great for a short break with friends or family. Walk into town for a good meal at local pubs, bakery or various restaurants. Always clean and plenty of food for breakfast and also the garden to pick what's in season to eat. Plus the farm animals for the children. Have been four times and plan to go back.

Friends of ours had been before, and this time they invited half the class, 3 house for 10 adults and 10 kids. Was perfect. We had our own space and spent quality time at larger houses to sit around the heaters and enjoy the fruits of our days wine tasting. Getaway, Entrance and Garden Cottages. A huge block that is... Planned this trip about a year ago. There were a few changes along the way as was travelling with 4 over 80 year olds! Cathy in the office was amazing and dealt with the changes wonderfully . Thanks again ! We ended up only requiring 1 house so we ended up staying in Bloome Cottage. 3 bedrooms , 2 bathrooms... More

Lovely warm welcome at reception by staff. Everything spotless and in order when we arrived, with a special welcome chalkboard sign outside with our names on it! Beautiful well-appointed property with all the farm experiences, except it's a short pleasant walk into town. Would love to come back if we can!

Spent three days here recently, the warm welcome , little touches and everything there you could possibly want, as it says you only need to bring personal things with you, the animals are great Miss Olivia (the Ostrich) keeps an eye on everyone, the vegetable garden and flowers are very good.

A group of friends spent a few wonderful days in the Farmhouse at the Getaway Cottages. Immaculately presented, everything you could possibly need is in this cottage, and the make-your-own breakfast provisions are just beautiful. Wander around the garden, pick your own herbs and veggies, enjoy a game of putting on the green, or just relax on the verandah overlooking... More

Six couples booked the "big house" when we visited Mudgee for a Conference. This couldn't have been better. Property is in a good location - you could walk into the town, but we didnt as we experienced some very hot weather...so drove everywhere. The town itself is lovely & easy to get around. The house has everything you might need... More

We stayed in Bloome Cottage for the night and it was a great place to stay. More than enough room for our group of 7. Lovely location just a short walk from the CBD the accommodation includes air con in most rooms, is well appointed and has a nice outdoor area out the back. Would fully recommend this cottage to... It was certainly our pleasure to make your stay here in Mudgee as comfortable and as relaxing as possible. Being such a huge weekend of footie, to simply pack your bags and and have someone come in and make your home all tidy again is one of the extra joys of having a holiday all about. We always say, "all... More

My husband and I had booked a motel for one night in Mudgee but decided we'd like to spend more time there, doing day trips to the various sights in the Mudgee Region. We went to the Visitors Centre (very helpful) wanting to find self catering accommodation for 3 nights midweek. We looked at a few possibilities online including Mudgee... More
