We stay in Alma's cottage for a family weekend ....what a great place to stay with a family and pets - there were 3 couples so we all had our own queens sized room and the dog who had a great time exploring the property. The cottage had everything we needed and we really appreciated the special extra's. From the... More

If you are traveling to Mudgee and looking for accommodation, look no further and stay at this place! We were greeted by Vicki and Andrew on arrival who were wonderful and friendly to help us settle and show us where everything was and how everything worked in our cottage (garden cottage). A wonderful bottle of merlot, decanter of port, a... More

My wife and I have been coming to Mudgee for weekends away for the past 11 years. For the first few years we tried various different accommodations but since we discovered Evanslea 7 years ago we don't bother going anywhere else. It is very convenient, very comfortable, very clean, very relaxing and very good value. The owners, Andrew and Vicki,... More

Evanslea is located about 1km out of the centre of town. Our accommodation, "The Loft" was located overlooking the pool next to the main house. The studio style accommodation was lovely and clean- the personal touches such as port, fresh milk and cookies were a delight. The furnishings were plush and tasteful - there was a queen sized bed, living... More

We spent 3 nights here to celebrate an anniversary. We stayed in the Garden Room which has a kitchen (no oven), living area, bed area and bathroom. Has a spa but be warned it does take a while to fill with water but they do supply bubble bath which really works (unlike some other places). Arrived to milk, cold mineral... More

We stay at Evanslea every time we go to Mudgee to visit friends. The rooms are large & stunning & include a real fire place, warm bedding & electric blanket. The grounds are amazing - beautiful gardens to walk in. The breakfast is the best I've ever had on vacation, and often includes ingredients from their own garden & eggs... More
