Good hotel to stay in Cuenca. Just a little bit old , like in yearly 2000. You can park free your car on the street after hours. Before it pay for the rest. I park my car at 6 pm and drive away at 9 am and pay 2 euro for all time.Walking distance to the lad town a heavy and if you don't have a long walking experience take a cab.
We were very surprised at the luxury of this hotel. Although the outside needs a little TLC, the inside is superb. Underground parking is available at a price and well worth adding to the cost of the hotel as street parking is all paid for and monitored by wardens. The staff/ receptionist were all very helpful , all complying with the covid rules and regulations and spoke many languages. The room itself was excellent even having electric window blinds (which we found eventually!) Bedroom was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and tidy with plenty of toiletries. It had a safe but we didnt use it and also a small fridge for our own use. The terrace was very busy whilst we were there but we opted for the restaurant one night and had the best meal we had whilst on our short break in Cuenca. The hotel is ideally situated for the old town sites and the shops of the Town close by. If you are in the area we obviously would recommend this hotel and its facilities. Very well priced.…
The hotel was well prepared with Covid 19 safety measures, very quick and efficient check-in. The decor in the room was dated but the room was very big and the beds very comfortable. A/C worked well but on the nights we left the window open the noise from the bins being emptied at 5am was very loud. This may not be an issue depending on which side of the building your room is. Reception staff spoke excellent English. We did not eat in the hotel but did experience the very relaxed atmostphere of drinks on the terrace which was open until after midnight. The hotel is in a good location for access by car and is only a 5 minute walk from lots of bars and cafes in the pedestrianised area. The Old town is a fare hike uphill but there is an excellent bus service up to the top. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.…
We ignored the warnings on the internet and had a noisy night. The air conditioning only gave warm air, so we had to have the window open. We complained and got a free parking. There was a lot of noise from the traffic and from people outside a bar. The room was big and the beds were comfortable. Good breakfast. In the ads. the hotel states that the staff speaks a lot of languages. The receptionist did only speak Spanish and had to go and fetch a waitress from the restaurant to be able to communicate in English. Good parking (14€) in the basement.
The hotel is well positioned for both new and old Cuenca. It is possible to walk up to the Old Town in less than half an hour but there are fairly steep inclines and steps. However it was worth the effort to see the old buildings and the views. A regular bus service up to the old town leaves from close to the hotel The hotel is modern and our room and the bathroom were both a good size. Free water and green apples available in reception which was a nice touch. Buffet breakfast was good with hot dishes available. We would stay here again if in the area.
