quaint hotel located in the center, around the corner from the cathedral. welcomes us a very nice lady. The furniture is antique or style, here and there there are cozy sitting areas and a roof terrace overlooking the mountains and the rocky gorge. The bedroom has a sitting area, four-poster bed with feather pillows and a bathroom with Jacuzzi and... More

This is a charming place with antiques and history. We had a room with great views of the cliffs. Great location in the old town, walking distance to everything you want to see. Staff was very helpful and pleasant, breakfast was good. We were happy we were driving a small rental car, though, as the streets to get there are... More

The hotel is in a unique, historical, monastery-like building, nice cozy feel, great location. The staff is wonderful. Maria is great, knowledgeable, friendly, treats you in a very personalized manner. Breakfast is good, but hot dishes would add a value to it. Wifi was weak in our room.

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The service is very personal, the lady showed me two rooms so I could choose. I opted for a room at the back overlooking the gorge as the gorgeous room at the front with the four poster bed was right on the road (albeit not that busy). My room had a great view,... More

oh my god. This so called B & B is easily as good as most 5 star hotels I have stayed in. The whole place has been recently converted to a very high standard there are about 10 bedrooms. They are huge and beautiful. The receptionist 'Maria' was so friendly, she even gave us a free upgrade. Our bedroom even... More

What a find on our 5th trip to Cuenca. In this quiet and beautifully restored building in the heart of the medieval centre of Cuenca. Don't expect to find 5 star service but this was such superb value and what a location. We were travelling in a party of 9 and took four rooms, all located at the back of... More

Just returned from a 2 night stay at this hostal in Cuenca. We were two adults and two children, and had a room that overlooked the gorgeous cliff. We had one room for the kids that had a pull out couch, and a four poster bed and seating area in our room. Rooms were separate and were roomy and clean.... More

Hospederia de Cuenca is extremely well placed to look over one of the gorgeous gorges of Cuenca - even if you do not have a room at the back with a phenomenal view, because there's a truly very pleasant terrace at the rear. Our room was nothing short of GOOD so far as view, cleanliness, and facilities were concerned (except... More
