Firstly the pool. If you like a nice peaceful time around the pool, don't come to this hotel, there is loud so called music blaring out all day. The pool area is not looked after very well, puddles of water around the pool not moped up. Now to the room, reasonably good but aircon no good. Bathroom very small, you have to be careful not to hit your head on the wall in front of you when sitting on the toilet. Now to the restaurant, food was reasonably good quality but not much choice. No soup at evening meal, no Cava at breakfast, however our daughter needs gluten free food and they did their best to cater for her. All the staff are excellent and drinks are very reasonable. This hotel should not be 4 star

I spent a week in the structure, at the end of September. If I had to judge, with great regret I would give a 6 out of 10. Upon our arrival the room had not been cleaned sufficiently, we found some hair between the bed sheets and dust in multiple places in the room. The view of the sea from the balcony with the sun setting, the kindness of the staff, the restaurant and the structure are beutiful.

Dont let bad reviews put you off!!! After reading previous reviews we were apprehensive about going! But we were pleasantly surprised! The hotel itself is really nice, comfy well decorated and reception was really posh! Greeted with a lovely lady member of staff! The room was basic, really nice shower and the balcony was fine. Everything you needed. The only downside was the hairdryer. Definitely take your own. The pool area was lovely and it definitely has the sun hit it! Do not be put off! The sun was there all day! I caught a tan easily and there is a nice bar inside and even it own lifeguard. The breakfast was lovely, everything from pastry to cereal to fruit and fried breakfast and even different types of milk! The spa was definitely a highlight! The massage was incredible. I would definitely recommend this hotel it is so close to the harbour and beach but far enough not to hear noise! The only downside is occasional noise from rooms above but but to be expected . We went for a long weekend and for what we paid I would definitely return!

The walls really are paper thin, so bring some earplugs! One time after the cleaner had been in the room our door was left unlocked - reception’s response to this was ”that sometimes happens because of the wind” (?!?) This was slightly unnerving. Keycards stopped working several times during our stay and we kept having to have them reprogrammed. Pool area was nice and relaxed, gets both sun and shade, always sunbeds available. Breakfast was okay.

My honest experience with hotel Torre Azul. To start with some of the upsides, upon arrival the hotel was right next to the bus stop (that's one of the only area benefits). The staff are really nice, I think this was the best thing about being there (best and only good thing), most members of staff were nice, the young ones especially, the older ones were a bit less friendly, but they were ok. The hotel appears ok from the outside (quite fancy) but it lets you down past the door. It's extremely dark and gloomy, it has a hospital vibe to it and even outside at the back where the pool was, it's very dark (keeps the water too cool + defeats the purpose of having a pool area - to be in the sun! I ended up never using the pool for this very reason - money wasted as they charge more because they have a pool). I was given a room in what I presume was the least developed, ugliest floor of all with no recent renovation. The room was smaller than expected, had very old furniture and extremely uncomfortable beds (two single beds but one was taller than the other so I couldn't use them as a bigger bed). Every door on this floor creaks, but very loudly too which is only further amplified by the flooring and lack of decorum (again, very hospital like - tiles all over the floor?!). This aspect in particular was horrendous - everything was so loud every step, every word, everything. I had read some reviews regarding the walls being thin and how you'd be able to hear everything from your neighbors' and I thought that was a joke - it was very true. I couldn't sleep either of the two nights I was there (I left earlier by a day because that place was so bad it drove me insane and the lack of sleep ruined my day each time). People were having fights and loud arguments, some hotel stayers would make noise until 3AM and no staff or security would show up to calm things down - very weird. It's been very long since I stayed in a hotel and felt this unsafe. All doors/furniture were really old. The door gave me the impression that it was open all the time, the balcony door didn't seal properly so you'd always hear the wind/noises. It's really not sound proof it ruined the whole stay. The beds are very uncomfortable and you're expected to cover yourself with a bed sheet.. I've seen this bedding at hotels before but never this thin. Combine this with air coming through that balcony door + being awake at night because of slipper noises and banging on the hallway = dream vacation I guess. The balcony view was also just some people's homes and the back of the hotel which had some trash around. They charge specifically for balcony too, as if you get the sea view (no side of the hotel has sea view because they're far from the sea). Another thing they charge for is location. Now, there are shops around which is fine, but it's nowhere near the beach! You walk a good 15mins there. I can't believe I did not choose hotels next to the beach for 30£ more thinking I'd save and still have quality here! Other details such as a piece of food being broken and left on top of the mini fridge.. just all over the place, no eye for detail. Extra charge is also the breakfast and boy oh boy, unless you're German and have the most typical mountain dweller diet ever, you won't be able to eat anything. If you're vegetarian, you have maybe eggs or boiled eggs (peep the huge variety and difference), if you're vegan/allergic to anything - you'll starve. I'm not kidding there's nothing to eat. Some sausages and boiled eggs. The coffee is instant and I did not even bother with it. I was already in shock at the fact that I'd spent £300 on a "4 star hotel breakfast included" and I can't even eat breakfast because they won't even serve croissants or something edible. Just soggy eggs and sausages?! Ok hospital food, I see you! The cost is extremely high for what you get. I usually have low expectations for any place I go because hotel owners ALWAYS lie, but this was something else. So Soviet-like and old, very hospital like, no character, loud noises everywhere and it's too dark. It ruined the whole experience. I'd not even consider returning to Mallorca again because of this experience, let alone to this very hotel!! Quite shocking, I was expecting a better stay, it's been quite traumatic instead. Unbelievable how we let the hotel industry get away with constantly increasing prices for the same (and worsening) facilities. It wasn't worth the money and with the exception of staff literally everything else was grotesque. I wouldn't recommend it but the decision lies with everyone, they must have some nicer rooms they reserve for people who have nationalities they like or who complain about every small thing.

Lovely hotel. Lovely friendly staff. Great location. And food on half board is amazing. High quality salads and dishes for every taste. I have stayed here before last year. But …. No fault of hotel but the resort is full of gangs of Germans. Marching through the town like something out of Kevin and Perry. Singing Nationalist German songs at 4 am every night outside hotel and then inside in rooms above me. Clubs and bars are in German first. That tells you everything you need to know. It’s a German focused resort. Drunken and football kit wearing. I won’t go back which is a shame. Man on the front desk said any issues with Germans and he could call police. This was before we even checked in. So it’s a problem. Lovely hotel. Lovely staff. Bad resort of non German.

The hotels description is not even near reality and misleading. The room was worn down, the beds old and in real poor condition – no noise residence, neither internal nor external – you are “unwillingly invited” into your neighbours, private life, and I guess they into yours. The noise is also significant from the outside. Their location on the main road out of the area means busses, garbage trucks, general traffic etc. and a “nice” view to the local “ghetto”. The other side includes the view from the restaurant and the pool area, which are faced towards a small square the serves as the neighbourhood dog toilet and a school (noise)… Note that the “4 star adults only” is very subjective… Spain is not part of the organisation (21 countries) that has agreed the standard, as we normally know them, and even then they are subject to?? and adult, meaning 16+, well if you chose to do business with youth travel party agencies that have nightly drunk and of dramas, then maybe not so much the “adult” impression they sent. Finally the food was “basic” vs. booking.com statements of the opposite, but the staff was nice…

When we arrived at 1am we were greatly warmly and each given a full meal! The staff were very friendly and polite the whole of our stay and really made us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was superb, plenty of options, omelette bar in the morning along with a host of other options and the dinner was tasty and varied as well. The location is brilliant, a short drive from the airport and its within a 5 minute walk of any shops you could want as well as a 15 minute walk from to the main strip. The spa on site is very well priced and has a host of wonderful features. The pool is alright with the sun reaching at all times of the day. Would recommend to anyone. We were half board.

Fabulous hotel in a brilliant location, just a short walk from S’Arenal and right on the bus route which takes you to the airport and Palma. Food was plentiful and delicious, lots of choice each morning and night. Our room was sea view and we had a brilliant view both day and night. The staff were friendly and welcoming, it was our first time abroad since 2019 and we came to celebrate my birthday and wedding anniversary. Thank you for a great experience, we would return and recommend.
