We came yesterday but because of mistake of a hotel (I think it was overbooked), we were sent for one night in the other hotel. Hotel paid for the taxi. Because of hotels mistake, we got a superior room instead of standard and a sea view. Room is very nice, clean. We booked all inclusive packet, breakfast/lunch/dinner is fine but snack time you get a very poor choice (you only get sweets). The other negative side of this hotel are the misleading photos of a pool. On the photos it looks big but its actually very small. In the 7th floor there is another pool even smaller, you can not swim in it (its more a jackuzzi). In front of a hotel there is another jackuzzi. At a pool there are not enough bedding and only one umbrella if you dont like the sun.

I agree with other reviews that the reception staff let the hotel down, they do ignore you & leave you standing whilst discussing something clearly more important than a customer waiting to be served. The rest of the staff are overly accommodating, maybe a job swap! Africa is an absolute credit to the hotel, she really stands out. Also, the German guests have no consideration for anyone other than themselves, they are loud & rude & yes they still put towels on beds then go for breakfast or one day went clothes shopping before coming back to the pool. I'm a very fussy eater & always found something to eat, there's always so much to choose from. We stayed in a suite, which had a very scruffy bed settee/couch but had been slept in & had to ask for bedding to be changed. You can hear every sound from other rooms the walls are so thin. The noise from the road with stag parties rolling home at 4am you have to accept in this part of Majorca unfortunately. Enjoyed our time there that we came home & booked to go back but to an area a bit quieter.

Last day (340) at Mediterranean Bay Hotel. Our four days have been superb. Our room is spacious, nicely decorated, very clean and catered for our needs. The Management should be very proud of there staff. Professional, pleasant and helpful. We originally booked B&B,the food was so deicious, we were happy to pay for evening meals here too. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you again to all the staff. 😀

The venue does live up to its 4 star status. The hotel, for us, when we where here, was very clean, and very professionally run. It’s a busy in demand hotel, and staff seem to have to deal with everything all at once (Wi-fi passwords, where to eat, how do I get new towels) with some needy demands that I heard. The hotel looks great. Literally only a 5 minute stroll down the hill if that, to the beach. Cash machine outside. Shop across the road (little down towards beach side) does all the food and drink you need. We tried all-inclusive. Best deal available. Everyday a life guard at the pool from early to 6pm I think. Facilities like toilets where amazing, great! Bar and food where immensely great. The hotel does display the food offering very good, the mink water feature when you first walk in is great, plus the rhino, which you will no doubt see. If your a smoker, great, if your not, oh! The outside area there seemed for us, this time, a constant flow of smoke air. It wasn’t good when sunbathing and we didn’t like it when relaxing. If possible, somewhere for the smokers to congregate and smoke, then come back to relax and sit. It really does make the biggest difference to us. As I don’t want to breath constant smoke, regardless of wind direction. Apart from that, I would have rated this hotel on this occasion 5 stars. Also, please visit the sky bar. You have to pay for all drinks regardless of all inclusive or not, but I did get a good bottle of fizz on my birthday for €15 and given complimentary treats. The views are to die for. 11-6pm I think. Pool outside too. Best place to really impress your friends on holiday. Great staff, food and rooms. All we needed next was a butler to feed us grapes! Thank you Hotel Mediterranean Bay.

Hotel was lovely food very good and varied. Rooms very very small nothing like website! Best advice I can give is DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU ARE GERMAN Reception staff so rude they will not speak to you if there is another person waiting that is German, whole resort is German very little English spoken. Area that the hotel is in at the end of El-Arenal is really dirty with very scruffy buildings, several hostels with lots of German stag and hen parties feels very un safe at night.
