Booked a last minute solo break so wanted a quiet hotel in a non British resort and this hit the nail on the head. Arenal itself is lovely, it’s a good mix of Spanish residential and smaller international hotels, with a good range of shops bars and restaurants catering to all tastes and budgets. The hotel itself is located a stones throw from the beach and marina and has all amenities on the doorstep. Check in was smooth and quick with clear instructions about the half board meal times, which I just managed to catch after check in. My room was on the 5th floor overlooking the Main Street, room was spotlessly clean, sparsely furnished but exactly how I’d expected a 3 star to be, and how little I paid for the stay! Meals were buffet style and always a good selection, meat fish salad and fresh baked bread in a lovely bright clean restaurant area. The restaurant staff were super speedy at replenishing food and clearing tables and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely outside terrace and pool are which I had to myself 90% of the time, however there were lots of sunbeds available and a lovely outdoor bar area. I’m aware this hotel wasn’t full because of current travel restrictions so can only comment on my own experiences but I think the staff would be excellent regardless of how busy this place was and the price you will pay will be indicative of your stay. I’m already planning my return for another end of season stay next year.…
first holiday abroad so was happy to stay anywhere, food was varied each day, staff were very pleasant and very close to main strip. close to main bus stops for palma. hotel room was very small for a double and not enough sun beds, I only seen 5!
The place is great for the price you pay. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is right next to the harbour and a really nice beach located next to lots of bars and restaurant. Having gone all inclusive the food was awesome and the drinks on offer we superb :) the rooms are very basic but who spends time in the room? Not me :) Overall great visit and would go again
Great location - El Arenal is such a great find, amazing beach a few minutes walk Our room was very pleasant, with a view of the street which was nice as I'm nosey (bin en were noise in the mornings, but it didn't bother me) Food was really good Price was amazing Only downfall is the lack of any sort of music, it was rather boring in the evenings with only a quiet radio.
Good hotel, pity no entertainment, & the flies at the pool are a nightmare, but nothing the staff can do about the bugs, also the pool opens at 10am I think, but you have to Q till they open the gate, then it's a mad dash for your bed lol, look out for the folk who think it's of to skip right to the front without a care in the world
