There're hundreds of hotels in the area. Don't go to this one. It's expensive and has poor conditions. The first thing that I noticed when I arrived was that it didn't have a ramp to facilitate the access of people with mobility difficulties. The second detail was that you were CHARGED for the WIFI 4€ DAILY. I have never seen that before. Also you were given a big and a small towel per person. Not a bath math, and they were refusing to give you any edtra towel. Towels are quite old, by the way. They tried to make money in every single possible way. The dinner does not include a single drink, not even water, and you can't take your own drinks. Most nights, there weren't many options, mainly salad. Nice the first night, but fed up after a week. Food taste was meh, but not horrible. If you want a decently quiet stay, it's not a good option. The place was full of drunk people. The first night, I saw how the man next to my door fell and opened his head. He was so drunk that barely knew where he was. It's not the right place if you aren't partying 24/7. I was told that I could notify reception of what room was causing noises, but there were a few per level. Impossible mission. I had an extra problem. My room had an air conditioner that leaked. I was told that they couldn't send anyone to fix it because the maintenance staff finished their shift at 5. What about emergency maintenance? I complained lots because it was a hazard. Their answer was to put a towel, which was getting soaking wet. They didn't have other rooms available. It took them 3 days to have another room free. I didn't receive any compensation for the inconvenience. Why not just 1 star? Because the staff. THE STAFF WAS NICE, THE ONLY GOOD THING. I feel sorry for them. They face lots of abuse.

The Ipanema Park feels very much the poor relation when compared to the Ipanema Beach. Lots of money has been spent on the public areas, but once you step away the hotel feels a little tired. The cleaners worked long & hard to keep everywhere looking it's best, and we had maid service & clean towels everyday we were there. There were interesting food combos both at breakfast & dinner, always visit the grill for something hot! The bar staff were friendly The beds were comfortable in the rooms, but the balcony door was difficult to open & close, & very noisy

There are 2 hotels and when we arrived at the one we booked, we were sent over the road to the sister hotel. The hotel is really clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms could do with some modernisation (we stayed in room 224 and the shower bracket was broken meaning water was everywhere after you'd showered, the balcony door made a terrible racket when opening it and one of the glass partitions was shattered, the wardrobe doors didn't slide open properly) but they were cleaned everyday and were comfortable and nice. There is a small hair dryer in the room but the hotel do not provide the use of an iron. Also, this is very much a German hotel. Groups of young German boys & girls constantly in and out, speakers round the pool (obnoxiously loud) and hanging flags from their balconies.

I was going to give this hotel a good review because everything was fine until day 3. We had a very agressive food poisoning caused by a very undercooked meat; me, a family member and also other guests. We all ate the same that night. An ambulance was called. At the reception we asked for a cup of tea or at least hot water and the receptionist denied it. He was kinda rude, simply said he couldn't do anything and told us to wait until breakfast time. Extremely disappointed by this, considering all the other previous receptionists and cleaning ladies were all very nice to us. Apart from this, this is a nice hotel. Spacious rooms with a balcony, and well located. Just a small walk to the beach. The swimming pool is a bit small but the area is pleasant. I wouldn't mind staying here again, but I wouldn't eat at the restaurant. There are so many wonderful places to eat in the area, you don't really need the hotel's restaurant.

It has some of the basics, hairdryer, clean rooms, close to beach and strip of restaurants, buses. The pool is very small, shaded in the afternoon, not the cleanest looking, our bathroom one morning poured water out from the ceiling (maintenance came to look, never came back) the air-con was on but didn't work, instead we had to open the balcony from about 1am to let cold air in but then close again around 4am/5am because it gets very noisy. The beds pushed together don't stay together so expect to sleep like an old married couple, TV but no remote, no views just buildings. We paid for breakfast, that was fine, no complaints there. Local restaurants food is pretty identical is each one with those annoying people getting in your face to drag you in, after a few days we were sick of it and went to Palma instead-strongly advise Palma over Arenal, unless you're a middle aged German man on a 'lads' holiday and you want to all wear matching neon shirts, buy and wear all thr souvenirs and walk around drunk and shouting, trying to relive some of your youth, somehow. A few nice bars, one good beach beach club but events are only on Saturdays.

This hotel is very clean and tidy looking with a very nice pool. The rooms were clean, bed was very comfortable and has a tv. Bathroom has a bath and shower, hairdryer, shampoo/body wash. Very close to the 23 bus stop and A2 and only a short walk from the beach. Shops bars and food close by. This hotel is perfect for the price we paid. However, the walls are paper thin to be prepared to hear anything. Since we’ve been here I’ve been woken up about 6am to the neighbours coming home from the clubs. They’re VERY loud. I would return again though just hopefully get better neighbours.

Very clean rooms, polite staff, great selection of food and drinks. It's 3star so remember not much in the way of entertainment but just a 5 minute or so walk to the beach and shops and restaurants. Nice pool area with plenty of lounger around the single pool. You get a decent nights sleep too.

The room was not good. It had holes in the walls and the balcony door was not locked! We told the reception to change our room because the balcony door was not locked and we were scared about our stuff and they told us to pay 4 € to keep our suitcases. Unacceptable! The next day they gave us a better room which had exactly the same problem! Very bad choice this Hotel!

Me and my partner came here for 3 nights for a little break away from the kids. I would say that it’s ok for a short break but wouldn’t want to stay for a longer period nor would I bring our children for a few reasons. The good: Beds are comfortable, rooms modern and clean. Location, near lots of places to eat and shops and lovely beaches. Friendly staff. The bad: Noise- you can hear everything as if it’s in the same room as you. The pool area wasn’t the best, but the pool in the twin hotel on the other side was much much nicer. The food- We are pretty easily pleased when it comes to food so most places when they have not so great reviews on the food we usually ignore them and have no issues. BUT it’s unfortunate that for once we wasn’t thrilled with the food. The food wasn’t hot, by the time you got back to your table it was verging on cold and there wasn’t much variety and also was quite repetitive. It was the only time We wished for chips and there wasn’t even any of those. So I think had our children been with us they wouldn’t have eaten much on offer. We often went out and got other food even though we was all inclusive. There doesn’t seem to be much in terms of entertainment. Overall it’s an ok place but could improve a bit.

I’ve booked for 10 days , Solo trip . I booked knowing it was three stars so didn’t expect to much in the way of luxury . On my arrival no receptionist , had to wait 15 mins by desk till someone appeared . By the time she dealt with my booking and checked me in on her system the queue was outside . The hotel is running on skeleton staff , the rooms are basic and are not very well cleaned . the breakfast was basic , one day there was no breakfast chef to make the eggs , so guests had to have the basic boiled eggs . I was keen to have a croissant they looked crispy and fresh but when i removes the top danish flies flew out from the dish .... it made me feel sick , i ended up having two toast . Last night went for dinner at 7.45 pm , at the entrance were to employees , asking for ID , they were extremely rude to there paying guests . I was disappointed in level of service throughout the hotel it’s poor quality and needs updating . There is mould in the bathrooms , i do understand that it is nearly coming to the end of the season how ever mould black mould doesn’t appear over weeks it appears over a long period . I think the hotel should step up and ensure the guests are looked after and the chef also should perhaps consider finding a solution of the flies , they also appeared out of the buffet in sweet corn niblets truly disgusting ....
