Stayed for a week in April. Nice clean hotel, close enough to centre, lovely helpful staff, . Nice breakfast although found it strange that bacon, sausages, eggs in the morning were cold, although maybe that is normal for Spain
We visited this hotel as a couple in our late 20s, in April 2022. Our first time abroad since the pandemic, so we were looking forward to it. The hotel was very clean. The cleaners were super friendly and always said hello. The pool area was so quiet, we had it to ourselves often. The decor was fairly modern, standard for a budget hotel. A big supermarket just a few minutes walk away, through a park area at the bottom of the road. The beach was a ten minute walk (although it is up hill coming back). Perfect location for the bus stop to visit Palma. On this basis, it was a great budget hotel for a break away. However, the noise was almost unbearable. El Arenal is a popular party location, with large bars/clubs aimed at German tourists. Which of course, means lots of drunk people. There was absolutely no sound proofing in the hotel room. You could hear every word in the surrounding rooms. You could also hear the loud noise made by the lift, which was in constant use around the clock. One afternoon there was a fight in the room next door, and it sounded like they threw furniture at the walls! I only had between 3 and 5 hours sleep a night, due to loud/drunk people leaving, arriving and just hanging out in the corridors and in their rooms at all sorts of hours. I've stayed in lots of budget hotels in Europe, and hostels but never experienced noise like this. I saw the reviews but assumed it would be fine, but it really is as noisy as everyone says. The first night, I was scrolling through hotel websites at 3am to try and find somewhere else to stay as it was too loud to sleep, although due to cost we decided to just put up with it. This hotel is probably perfect if you want to stay somewhere low cost and want to party/stay up late every night or are a very deep sleeper! It was clean, had semi comfortable beds and pillows, and an okay shower. However, I personally wouldn't recommend it if you want a relaxing holiday now that restrictions have been dropped.…
My partner and I spent four days in this hotel. We had such a lovely time!!! Our hotel room was perfectly cleaned every day. Thank you to all the cleaners! The receptionists such as Carmen and the other lady (who I cannot remember her name but begins with a letter 'A') were so lovely, they were always ready to help us. Ana (the breakfast lady) was also very lovely towards us. The breakfast is simple but tasty! The location is perfect. Great swimming pool too. I must say, on Monday night, there was a male receptionist doing the shift. My partner and I asked for some ice, the receptionist asked me to wait whilst he finished with a customer. So I waited. All of a sudden he begins to swear, everything he was saying sounded so rude. I didnt understand if it was at me? He made me feel really uncomfortable. Therefore my overall rating is 4 stars. Thank you for the experience! Muchas gracias !!!…
Ok The hotel is remodeled but I found 2 thing that are I credibly awful. The food is really terrible and you have to pay for air conditioning. In mallorca. In the middle of the summer. You have to pay for air conditioning. How??
Nice hotel and very friendly welcoming staff. It had everything we needed and everyone was very helpful. Would recommend anyone from UK to come here despite our stupid governments quarantine. Much safer from covid here than UK is.
Check in was very efficient the man was very helpful and friendly, we checked in around 8pm. Room was nice and clean. All staff really friendly. We stayed for 10 day's, couldn't fault our stay apart from a noisy person trying to get in his room late at night, which the night man helped him get in his room, apart from that no issues.
me and my husband had a long weekend away. when we walked into the reception at 10pm after a long day,we came across the male receptionist having a massive argument with an older lady and kept going while we stood at the desk. not good first impressions.. omg when we got out of the old lift we were hit with woodchip paper with hundreds of layers of paint. our door was so flimsy it was unreal. and it had a tiny little bathroom lock in the inside.. did not feel safe at all. room was small but clean.. bathroom needed tlc. shower was hanging off the wall. bath was all chipped.. not good really. breakfast was a no no for me.. there was your usual stuff bacon eggs and stuff but it was luke warm. i was so pleased we only stopped for the weekend.. theres no way i could of done week.. if i was you.. i would look elsewhere.. unless you dont mind sharing a hotel with workman using it for digs... …
Ok it’s cheap and cheerful and clean! close to the beach! That’s what we wanted that’s what we got! Stayed 5 nights with my sisters and had a fab time! Why people complain I have no idea! It is what it is! I’ve done 5 star luxury and the price tag to match, this was just a sisters getaway and we couldn’t complain! You must visit La Marina on the beach AMAZING!!
In this hotel only the look of the Reception is good, when you visit the second floor it looks like the cheapest hostel, On bed I found 3-5 long hair which is ok it can happen In the shower the water goes super slow and canalization wouldn’t absorb water, Staff was very rude and Sarcastic. when I asked where can I find a pharmacy they replied don’t you have google. Breakfast is totally garbage, I had to go until supermarket to buy something, Swimming pool is all the time in the shadow. Last but not least there is poor sound isolation
I’ll get fast to the point. We had been staying in a standard double room •Staff is arrogant.Asked once if there is any pharmacy nearby and they replied “don’t you have google?” . Second time noticed the guy who was cleaning the breakfast area, being angry and kicking the chairs when the cutlery fell from his hand on the floor.(They were nice only with the German visitors) •Breakfast is really poor: Fake concentrated (fresh) juice, non cooked scrambled eggs , left over food from previous days •Bathroom is really small without ventilation . There is no water pressure at all and the sink is not absorbing the water, so there was always a small lake afterwards •There is no sun hitting the pool so it’s always cold •Worst bed ever! Piece of metal/iron , like the cheap ones that you fold in and out. Uncomfortable and noisy every time I was turning side. •You need to pay for the air conditioning 3€ per day •The lobby area seems nice and renovated. You realize that the renovation stops to the first floor. That the stairs, walls , the floor and the tiles are super old and different than the entrance. See pictures below …
