We were for a Birthday party, at the end of the season, it seams the paradise. The only was the music at night, was finished, we use the bar, but with our own music. Thank you all the staff, much better that spected
We went for resting holidays in family beginning of November in Hipotels Eurotel and our stay was really good. Perfect place with an awesome view (only minus, no direct access to sandy beach but there are many of them not far away by car). Staff was very friendly (special thanks to Luisa in restaurant and Miguel at the lobby bar) and helpful for any requests. Entertainment was good in the evening not too loud or annoying if you wanted to rest but nice concerts (but not every evening, I guess because it was almost the end of the season). Quality of food and drink were very good (special thanks to the cook Satur). Sound isolation was very good with a second door in between the corridor and the room.
As a frequent traveller, I wanted to explore other destinations and found a last minute holiday at this resort in Majorca. This is a lovely hotel with most of the staff being helpful considering I don’t speak Spanish. First impressions, I was slightly disappointed as I was walking to the check in desk when another guest ran in front of me and my friend which transpired to be a group of people jumping the queue. Reception didn’t say anything and we waited patiently for our turn and was greeted with a welcome drink but no formal greeting like other guests received given it was our first time at the hotel. The room itself was spacious, decor traditional with some wonderful features with a balcony overlooking the sea partially due to the trees. It was still stunning and very peaceful whilst relaxing in the room. The toilet can be a little noisy through no fault of my own. The next day, the guest in the next room put a note under my door asking me to close the water flush as it’s noisy. So I called Reception who had sent the maintenance guy to check and was told there is nothing wrong with my toilet. I wrote back to them in the same manner asking them to raise any grievances with the hotel manager in future as “I am” simply a guest at the hotel. The food was first class and hats off to the chefs. It was gourmet and mouth watering and can easily indulge. A very nice selection if you are wanting to watch your waistline. Most of the waiters and waitresses were nice with the odd one out. Unfortunately, there was an unpleasant incident at breakfast whereby I had asked one of the waitresses if they wouldn’t mind cleaning the table so my friend and I could sit there. I received a back lash, that there was a gentleman already sitting there when in reality had already left the restaurant. We could feel the stares and made to feel small for asking to sit at a preferred table. Facilities included a gym, indoor pool and spa. I really enjoyed the spa however was ruined on my last day due to a Spanish guest being rude, uptight and unbearable. I was under the water massage jets enjoying myself when she swam towards me saying I was talking too loud. Given, I was under the water, she could have said politely and told me to turn the volume down as if I was a radio. Next, I was targeted once again and shoved out of the way wanting to use the water massage jets saying she had paid money. There were two of them in the pool, where my friend and I were but she picked on me due to my colour. We were there for less than 2 hours and I felt targeted. I quickly raised this to the spa receptionist who said she would speak to the lady in question about her behaviour. Some guests were polite however the negative ones outweighed my experience at the hotel and felt subjected to racism and prejudice due to my colour. I am tanned and received a backlash for not being white like most guests in the resort. Lifts - I found them to be fine except the day I was checking out of my room. When the lift came, there were only three people in, I received a stern “No” saying I could not come in and to wait for the next one. The lady could have been nicer but the time of voice said it all. Would I return? Unlikely due to the negative experience received by guests which is a shame as the hotel itself is divine with lots to offer. Hence I rated it average. If only guests could be kinder, and nicer to one another, the world would be a wonderful place and remember that everyone is on holiday.…
Having loved our visit in July we came back in October for more! We had a family room, which was fantastic - 2 full size rooms both with ensuites and 2 x large singles in each room. Our family room in July was not as modern or as big so definitely worth checking when you book. We went 18th - 21st Oct and everything was pretty much as it was in July, except the poolside bar and cafe was closed, but the same service was available from the main hotel bar which is also by the pool. The higher end Cabana restaurant was also closed but this is not the one where you eat when you pay for half board, it's a more expensive separate option. The service both at reception, in the bars and restaurant is excellent - the staff are so friendly and professional. The location is perfect if you want a quiet, laid back holiday without the busy-ness and noise of a resort. There are children about, of course, but they have always tended to be well behaved and relatively quiet in our experience! You can order drinks (alcoholic and non) from the bars to drink at tables overlooking the pool, or by the pool; house wine is only around 5 euros per glass. The food at the pool bar/hotel bar is very acceptable - salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, fish etc - good quality and affordable, but not a gastronomic experience. Towels are free to borrow, but you pat 15 euros each if you do not return them; you can swap them for fresh at any time. If you have to check out but want to hang around at the hotel before your flight that is allowed - you can use spa towels and the spa facilities to shower before you leave, free of charge. The breakfast buffet is really good, loads of choice. Same with the dinner buffet - my favourite was the fresh cooking station where they will cook fish and meat of your choice to order! There is entertainment on alternate nights (possibly on Friday and Saturday nights, I can't remember); it's inoffensive pop singers, some Spanish dancing etc, and it's only on from about 9pm-10pm/10.30pm. It's not too loud and you could easily sit by the pool or in bar seats outside and it not be too intrusive. On both visits we had an issue with the air con but both times it was fixed very quickly. There are 3 restaurants within walking distance, as well as a spar shop, a bus stop with regular air conditioned buses into Cala Bona and Cala Millor, and a beach with a beach bar/cafe about 15 minutes' walk away (it's also on the bus route).…
Very good situation, food quality is very good, and the matress was perfect! We came to recharge batteries, and we left energized. The situation with the sea is fantastic! The buffets were very good. THe SPA staff welcoming. We were well looked after! Thank you to all the staff at the hotel!
Service not in line with a 4 stars hotel. Reception not willing to deal with any kind of issues. Restaurant service and quality was very good. I was expecting to have at least still a bottle of water on the minibar. Nothing on it...
The room we received was a very "old-fashion" design let's say. It has cracks and holes in the ceiling and we were surprised to see that in a 4* hotel. The room is pretty big but should be redesigned to a modern one. The beds also are a little old and produced squeaky sounds after your every move. The restaurant/bar staff is excellent, everyone is very helpful and friendly. The staff and food itself are one of the reasons why this hotel has 4*. The room is a typical 3* hotel room where you do not want to spend a lot of time.
The bar and restaurant staff were all great as was the food. Plenty of variety. The pool[s] were very nice being of the walk-in type. The hotel overall was good but the location of the room is very important. We were overlooking the hotel entrance and experienced noisy guests arriving and leaving the hotel at all hours which spoilt our experience. We would go back but only if we could be sure of a room away from this area of the hotel.
This hotel sits in a quiet, upmarket residential area with a couple of restaurants and a shop very nearby. Stunning views, fabulous restaurant service and food, very comfortable beds, super pool and grounds, easy access to the sea where the snorkeling is good. Corporate events, wedding parties and golfers come here, and we asked management to take steps to remind them that others are sleeping at night. Many hotel guests return every year. Some rooms are apparently privately owned, which dies not detract from the enjoyment of the hotel. A very friendly atmosphere. We met lots of friendly people while staying here.
Restaurant and bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was very good with lots of choice. Grounds, pool and access to the sea where the snorkeling was good made a super holiday. Lovely hotel with many people staying year after year.
