The hotel is in a great location and all the facilities were in great condition.
There was always plenty of choice on all inclusive basis including drinks. The hotel would benefit from providing bottles of water at the bar rather than pouring a glass of water out of the bottle, this would save alot of waste as there are fridges in the room.
The cleaners didn't change our bedding in a week and they making of the bed was poor but nothing we couldn't handle.
We had my Sons hat taken from our room, this was reported but not returned. This was disappointing as we know it could have only been the staff that took it. No one else had access to our room. My son refused to wear the hat and was taken off the shelf above the safe. The wardrobe could do with having doors for privacy of personal belongings so that items weren't on display to be taken so easily. Other people also reported items been faken from rooms whilst we were there.
Overall the hotel and location is great just a shame the theft of something of little value has left disappointing negative thoughts. We did use the safe for valuables but no privacy for clothes or other belongings which let's the hotel down.
My son also said a cleaner entered the room without reason late afternoon with no explanation.

We came to this hotel for 2 weeks from the 11.06.2023 and what a lovely hotel. Room was very clean bed was a king size and was very comfortable and the pillows were nice and plump, the sheet was a little thicker than a normal sheet which I preferred, the aircon worked great and kept the room lovely and cool. The cleaners came everyday to clean the room and make the beds.Check in was late when we arrived we were given 2 key cards for the room and a packed lunch with water which was much appreciated after arriving after 12 midnight. We were advised where to go to our room which was on the top floor. Breakfast was really good had a good variety and was very tasty the staff were always friendly and on hand to remove any plates once we had eaten. Lunch and dinner again was very nice with a good variety of food and a different theme every night we especially enjoyed the Cyprus food night. Bar snacks through out the day were good and cooked to order and there was a good choice of drinks. The pool was fairly small but not too small and was never over crowded we managed to get sun beds even if we went later in the day. There was evening entertainment a couple of nights a week which we enjoyed. George the hotel manager was a really lovely man and always asked how we were and stopped for a chat when he saw us and nothing was too much trouble for him he was a really helpful friendly guy. When leaving we went to say goodbye to George and he gave us water and ice tea to take away for our journey to the airport. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be visiting again thank you all for making it a lovely holiday for us. Tracey and Rob

We have just returned from this hotel and had an excellent holiday. Lots of things grew on us throughout our stay. We went all inclusive through jet 2. The location is excellent for many things. A short stroll to the beach, theme park next door for the kids and plenty of bars/restaurants on the doorstep should you wish to venture out. Also there is a mcdonalds next door if you want to give the kids a taste from home.

The staff were all excellent throughout our stay. The pool bar staff and the restaurant staff. It was in our opinion a clean hotel which was excellent value. Having read some of the reviews you will always get a bad one or two. If you want 5 star everything pay a few thousand quid more to get that guaranteed. We were happy with the standard of service, the maid service and the room which we stayed in. You had a fridge in your room, bathroom which done the job and air conditioning which is a must.

If we had to mention any cons these could potentially just be regarding the pool/area. The swimming pool itself doesn't have a shallow area. It has an area which is like a raised seating area so if you have children you may want to take note of this. There is a small baby pool with a slide separate though. Also if you came in a larger group sunbeds could be an issue. We don't get up particularly early but people do go down and reserve theirs with towels. As there were only 3 in our group the days we did turn up at lunchtime we manages to get lucky and find some.

Now on the food front there was always plenty of choice. Some food tastes a bit different to home but you are in a foreign country. Breakfast was nice, as well as lunch and the evening meal. The staff were excellent in the restaurant, they were always on hand to clear your plates and offer you drinks. You can also get snacks at the pool at certain times. There was a notice abouts wearing trousers for dinner. I took some jeans but after wearing them on the 1st night I was probably the only one so they weren't needed after that.
On the drinks side of things at the swimming pool bar there is plenty of choice. But if you want a nice cocktail these are around €5 but so worth it. I would definitely recommend 👌
Entertainment wise they do put some on which is different. They also offer wifi at the hotel which is good.

Overall we had a lovely holiday and are considering coming back here next year

Recently returned after a lovely family holiday first time to Cyprus for all of us and weather did not disappoint. Hotel positives - very clean and modern with daily visits by the maids - reception staff very helpful providing extra pillows etc on request and able to give advice of the local area which was very central and ideal within walking distance of beaches, shops and nightlife - which was helpful due to the lack of entertainment at the hotel. Despite being advertised as having ‘regular evening entertainment’ this consisted of a background singer / duo on a Tuesday and Friday night. This did not cater to families who then had to resort to going out of the hotel to find alternative entertainment venues to suit a family - therefore not a particularly good use of the all inclusive package - which was a shame as the all inclusive drinks options was quite extensive compared to other places we have stayed offering a large range of cocktails, beers and spirits.
During the day you had to be up pretty early to get a sun-bed in the pool area. The pool itself was lovely and warm which was an helpful as you were unable to leave children unsupervised due to the pool being all one depth. Unless you were over 5’7” you were unable stand up anywhere in the main pool therefore unable to play with the children - there is a very small seated / jacuzzi area at one end of the pool which got quite busy and an ankle deep raised area at one side but nothing in between for mid-age children or their under 5’7” parents! There is a very small children's pool with a slide however our youngest (5) preferred not to play in there due to the sheer capacity of children AND adults who took to sitting in there! Food - breakfast was as expected offering cereal, continental and cooked with the bonus of freshly made pancakes much to the delight of our children. Lunch - nice choices however we regularly ate from the snack bar as more accommodating for the family needs. Evening meals VERY repetitive with very little choice or variety for the children and even the adults becoming fed up after a few days ( thank goodness for mcdonalds which was literally next door) one very small improvement could be to offer ice cream as a dessert in the restaurant as other than fresh fruit there was nothing they would eat. While we would be unlikely to stay again with young children we would not rule out as returning as adults only holiday or much older children. Don’t want to end on a negative as we did enjoy our holiday and this was partly due to the stafff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome in particular bar staff Eleni, Anna- Marie and the lifeguard / barman/ waiter Pari who spoke to us regularly and interacted well with the children ( he needs a pay rise as never stopped morning noon or night 😂)

Recently got back from our stay at the Nichola Color Hotel. This hotel in my opinion is in the best location in Ayia Napa it is next to everything you need and a short bus journey or walk to Nissi beach.

This hotel also has the best Barman in Ayia Napa ( Ilias ) he goes above and beyond for the guests and can’t do enough for you. He was amazing with the kids, really kept them entertained and looked after them. A big shoutout to all the other bar staff too who were also brilliant with ourselves and the kids.

There was always something to eat in the restaurant and George who I believe is the hotel manager was amazing and always welcoming. He knew the kids was fussy eaters and went out of his way to ask the chefs to make the kids chicken nuggets and chips and bought them to the table for them to help themselves every night. He always made room for us all to sit together in the restaurant as there was 13 of us.

The hotel is very clean, our rooms were cleaned and towels changed everyday the cleaners do an amazing job.

All the staff at this hotel really look after the guests and we can’t wait to come back we really didn’t want to come home.

Thanks for a really good holiday!!

Honest review- hotel is very nice and extremely clean. Staff are all friendly and can’t do enough to help. Pool area is again clean and well equipped no rush for sun beds and signs up reminding people not to reserve them with towels. Now the bad part. On the 20th of May we were woken up at 1am to load shouting swearing banging of doors etc and this went on till 0600. When we went to reception we were made aware over 150 Swedish students had arrived at the hotel and this was the cause of the non stop noise (happened last year same time aswel) numerous couples asked to be moved/ pool area was a different space during the day. Sun beds all “reserved” with towels now chairs all moved from pool bar so students had seats as there wasn’t enough loungers. All of them drinking non stop, some families left the pool as their children weren't happy. one of the corridors had human waste smeared down the walls (was cleaned and repainted same morning) so to sum up if you want a nice relaxed hotel with nice staff this is the place to visit but not at the end of May / beginning of June.

The location is very good but up there. In particular, we had difficulty right from the beginning in the parking lot. After difficulty we found nearby parking space. On the positive that because we were late at check in and we had all inclusive we gave free lunch the next after check out.

The food and drinks in the pool moderate the pie in plastic.

But the point of the case is the towels for the pool. It makes sense that there is a deposit of 20 euros but no charge as a rental of 3 euros each. First time in a hotel I met this thing. And when you want to change the towel, you're charged 3 euros irreversibly.

Unjustified. Because of the quality of the food and drink and especially the towels issue, I kindly put 1 star.

My son is currently staying at this hotel with some friends. He said the food is awful & the staff are rude. One of the staff was clearing tables near to them and told them they had to clear their own table. It took them ages to book in when they arrived after an almost 3 hour delay thanks to Jet2. No rep is available. Air con wasn't working in the room.
Jet2 site states no beach wear can be worn in the restaurant. This means men cannot wear any type of shorts - not just beach shorts. No restrictions on what women can wear. So even though they have paid for all inclusive they cannot go in the restaurant for dinner as they haven't taken trousers. The pool closes at 6pm so no early evening swim if you've been out for the day.
They have been to Cyprus twice previously but stayed at a different hotel. Hopefully this experience won't put them off returning in the future!

Where do I start with this hotel!

Ilias is the best barman we have had at a hotel, he’s amazing at his job and really looks after the guests.

George was brilliant with us in the restaurant, he was very welcoming and always had fresh food cooked for the kids as they was fussy eaters. I think they should probably cater a little bit more for kids when families are booking in.

The pool is very deep so be aware of this If you have children that can’t swim. A shallow end to the pool would be a great addition to this hotel as its a bit of a worry with the kids near the pool.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It’s is literally next to everything. It’s a 5minute walk to the harbour and right next door to the fair. Tommys bar is worth a visit this is just outside the hotel.

If you want a night out in Protaras you can get on a bus outside of the hotel and they run until 4am. You can also jump on the bus down to Nissi beach or a 45minute walk from the hotel.

We can’t wait to come back in 2023
