We were a big family with lots of kids if any of the staff reading this we were the room #333.

The hotel is in an excellent location, very well presented. Cleaning is of good standard as well as rooms quality and view specially the huge family room with big balcony to the sea which we were (A/C working always as it should)

Staff was always very helpful from reception, to cleaners to restaurant area and outside bars.

Swimming pools are great and huge and kids area is quite okay. So overall a great place to stay at.

There is no entertainment but that for us was not a must as we prefer spend the night time going into town, enjoy the weather and have a family layout and relax playing games or do whatever indoors or outdoors.

Only thing to point was the food selection. It was not that bad, but having more selection would be better and of course for an all inclusive not to have free drinks apart from breakfast is quite a down side but unfortunately that is common practice in Cyprus or at least in that area not just Vassos Hotel. But the food was okay... not the best but quite acceptable and some tasty dishes.

For the covid restrictions it was compliant enough as I'm not a believe in wearing masks so for me that is not an issue but was invited sometimes to put my mask on on which I complied with.

So would definitely recommend.

Exceptional hotel, we had an amazing time!!! We visited last year as well and it was all we could think about all year long. This year we booked an all inclusive stay for 7 days in a suite with sea view to accommodate our big family. The hotel is spotless and excellent in all areas. Nissi beach is right opossite and you can quickly pop in for a swim in the beach or choose to relax by the amazing poolside. What surprised us the most was the great quality of the food which you don't expect in an all inclusive deal. The buffet options were amazing morning, lunch and dinner and cover everyone's needs. The hotel also follows all health regulations applied for covid19 which makes you feel even safer. An all time favorite option for all family members!!! We hope to visit again soon!!!

Just got back from a 10 night stay in this beautiful clean hotel the location is great over looks the beach the view from our room was idyllic. Nissi beach can get very busy especially on a weekend. The location of the hotel is in a quiet area apart from the beach but 10 min walk to restaurants and bars. Ayia napa is a good 35 min walk but you can get the bus opposite or taxi for 10euro. We stayed bed and breakfast we found that there was a good choice for breakfast and we ate around the pool on a lunch the food was fabulous 👌 The only disappointment for us was entertainment on a night this was rubbish. I would like to thank all the staff for making us feel very welcome especially Andre's, Mike, Sylvia. Elena around the pool bar but a special mention to Yannis in the main bar he made our holiday made us fantastic drinks and service with a smile and managed so well seen as he was on his own serving we will miss his cheeky face and chats. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a quiet relaxing holiday. We may return one day👍

I will start with the good parts, fresh modern and clean, food doesn’t really cater for children and not a great variety of choice to suit all tastes, we went half board and had to eat out majority of meals. Only drinks included are tea coffee and juice just at breakfast. When I booked I was told lunch drinks are included but when at the hotel nobody explained that drinks had to be paid for they came and took our drinks order not saying we had to pay so got the bill for that unfortunately. We paid £2500 HB for a family of 4 for 5 days not bad you would think apart from we booked for entertainment to be told there was no entertainment team some karaoke woman for the film stay, couldn’t use pools as was too cold
Staff was rude and miserable
If your looking at this resort stay at Adams beach we went there on our last day wish we went there from the start great entertainment, classy hotel and friendly staff
Should have been made aware no entertainment would have never wasted our money here

I’ve just had an 8 night stay here with my 16yr old son and honestly, I can’t tell you how lovely it is here.
The hotel is modern and extremely clean. The rooms are lovely and spacious. The food is 10/10!! Please don’t listen to any negative reviews of this place. If you want to stay in a great hotel with friendly staff and in a good location then just book it. You won’t be disappointed.

Nissi beach opposite the hotel is absolutely stunning!! A bit noisy at times but not unbearable. I liked the vibe on the beach and so did my son but I’ll admit if you want a quiet peaceful beach then this probably isn’t for you but you have plenty of other, quieter beaches nearby so it’s not a problem.

The pool is so clean and refreshing. No dirty hairs or any rubbish in it, it’s spotless and a joy to swim in.

A final thing I’d like to mention is how friendly and lovely the staff are here. I’m not going to name names as I find it all a bit cringey when people start doing that but every person I’ve met from the managers to the bar staff to the cleaners are so kind and friendly and always ask how your day’s been and give you tips on where to go.

My ONLY criticism ( and it’s not the hotel more the occupants) is the putting down towels on sun loungers first thing in the morning and then disappearing for the day and not even using them. I did have to sit on the grass a few times as no loungers were available yet nobody was actually sitting on 60% of the loungers, just towels. Quite selfish and annoying. The staff should be allowed to remove the towels after a period of time if no one comes and uses them. That’s my only complaint. Other than that we have loved it here and will definitely come back. Thank you to all the staff. You’ve been great! X

One final thing, please feed and leave water out for the stray cats around the hotel. They didn’t ask for this life and it must be extremely hard for them in the heat all day with no access to clean water or fresh food. If you could spare 5 minutes of your day to leave a cup of cold water and some food out you’d be doing a really kind thing. They are beautiful friendly cats who get no love or kindness and it’s really heartbreaking to see so please be kind.

This hotel was looked at against the Adams hotel that is across the road from the vassos. The price was the main factor in the final choice.
On arrival we got a very nice welcome and filled out the paper work and given the keys to our rooms. Due to the late arrival the restaurant was closed but we got told about a 24hr bakery across the road where we could get a bite to eat.
The lifts are so small max 6 but 4 is more realistic.
We both had our own separate room on level4 . On entry to my room the size was impressive with 2 single beds the room was absolutely spotless I had room 416 and the view was stunning looking over the bay The bathroom had lots of little extras like sewing kit, dental pack shower gel and conditioner shampoo .nice towels and plenty of towels.
The section for hanging your clothes was ample for me ,it also had slippers you can use and a set of scales if you need to weigh yourself .
Like I said the room was spotless and so was my daughters 423. The cleaners came in every morning and gave the rooms a good going over.
The biggest disappointment I would say is the so called fridge / chiller it's defo not a fridge and it just cools drinks so it's not room temperature ,really a upgrade on this item would be beneficial.
Breakfast was served from 7am to 10am it had everything you could wand ,with a omelette bar and it also done waffles one day pancakes the next .and it also had all the other usual things for breakfast.
The pool is really nice water getting a bit cold now even thou its still 31"" here but after5 mins you get used to it the pool is clean and I did read in other reviews about the green mould on the side ,this is not a issue and they do scrub it I seen the guy in pool doing this .. so don't let that worry you.
The poolside bar serve called Famous has a nice range of food , not great quality to be honest ,from toasties, fish fingers, burgers and pizza to name a few it ranges from 7euro to 16 euro and more. You have lots of beach cafes at your doorstep with prices being about the same.
Drinks are bit high if you compare to buying from supermarket at poolside bare it's 4euro for a large glass of coke as if you buy a standard tin from shop it's 1 euro and you get 1.5 of a large glass. The beer is 4.80 euro but with it being plastic tumblers the beer looks flat and not nice but the bar inside the hotel is served in glass and is fine ,but that's at night time only.
I think this hotel would be far better if it was fully inclusive but this option is not available at all.

On arrival I was very impressed with this lovely hotel right on the beach, great size rooms very clean with lovely balcony overlooking the beach and sea.
Pools are great however there is no where near enough sun loungers for the amount of people, majority of them have been reserved by about 8am despite the hotel notice saying towels will be removed before 9am... this never happens.
The beach is usually packed early morning too so there is difficulty finding beds and sunshades there.
The hotel food was generally very good quality however the hot buffet wasn't kept very hot.
The room was kept lovely and clean by the maid, but a personal towel we kept in the bathroom was mistakenly removed, we told reception and after several days of asking did not get it back, infact one lady on reception seemed to indicated that we probably took it out and lost it but that towel has been around the world and always been kept in the bathroom... until now. We weren't offered any compensation.
Other staff, bar and serving were wonderful and couldn't be more helpful and friendly.
All in all it was a nice hotel, shame about the sun loungers and certain reception staff.
We had a nice relaxing holiday but would not return.

Lovely hotel in great location. Staff very friendly however most guests do not adhere to covid advice. 90% do not wear masks in lifts and although the bedrooms and other areas are cleaned regularly the lifts are not. Only reason not given a 5 is because the covid advice is not managed by the staff.

The location of the hotel is good, it’s right on the beach where it is a lot activities to do. The pool area is just OK. The rooms where quite nice and we had good sea view even though it said it was limited. The elevator is really slow but it worked ok. The breakfast was also just ok

It’s the service that was really poor in this hotel. Almost never saw any staff smile. We are at the pool bar/restaurant 2 times, the food was good but had to wait a lot to get the staffs attention to get anything and it took a long time just to get a new drink even though it was just a few others there at the time.
The cleaners didn’t care about the do not disturb sign at all and just opened the door to ask. This happened every day. One of the days we got woken up by this and told here to wait a little, she came back 10 minutes later and we asked the same again. Then she came back after 20min and just started to clean the room with my friend still in bed…
But the worst guy was the receptionist, never met a more unfriendly person working in a hotel in my life. He was just mad about every single thing. One day we was waiting outside the lobby for the last friend when a taxi pulled up, the receptionist came outside and said our taxi was here and got mad and expected us to pay for it when we said we hadn’t ordered any as we where going to eat at restaurant not far away. We said it was he’s fault he had order it without even asking but he didn’t want to listen and just went back inside..

So all in all is the location all this hotel has.

Stayed at this hotel for 10 nights, the positives were
*Beautiful views
*Great bar staff
*Very clean
Negatives
*No room by the pool unless you get up at around 6.30am put your towels on the beds
*No facility offered for late flight! Well there is but if there busy your stuck for 12 hours in a lobby
*Beach always rammed before 9.00am
*Food average
In my opinion if want a sun lounger by the pool or a spot on the beach stay in Protaras.
I honestly felt sorry for any families taking children because unless one of you is able to get up early and reserve beds, you know chance
