The Nestor Hotel is celebrated for its tranquil atmosphere and spotless surroundings, creating a serene environment favored by a mature audience. While guests commend the modern amenities and overall cleanliness of the rooms, a few mention that the rooms can feel cramped and underlit. The hotel's prime location offers easy access to beaches, shops, and nightlife.
Exceptional service is often highlighted, though experiences of inattentiveness occasionally surface. The well-maintained pool and varied food options are popular, yet the value is questioned due to costly extras and an all-inclusive experience that doesn't always meet expectations.

OMG, just had my first holiday in Cyprus at 53 years old. What have I been doing all these years? We have just stayed in the Nestor hotel in Ayia Napa and I have to say this is one of the best holidays I have been on in my life. The area is immaculate, there is an abundance of shops, bars, restaurants and night clubs available. The weather was tremendous and the people are so welcoming. Now we all know that its the hotel that makes the holiday so here we go. We arrived at the hotel at 11pm and we were welcomed by the nicest Manager I have ever met, called Paul, who happens to be English. We got checked in and spent a further half an hour chatting to him and finding out where the best places to go were. Our hotel room was beautiful, room 109 on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool with a view of the sea. Rooms were cleaned ever day. We were all inclusive and the food was lovely, different variety every day, all drinks were brought to your table for you.
As per Covid 19 regulations, everyone had to wear a face mask in the restaurant and plastic throw away gloves were provided for handling the food and cutlery which was a reassuring touch. The pool was huge, and immaculate, never been in a bigger pool. No rush for sunbeds, there was more than enough available. Its worth noting that the Luxury beds around the pool come at an additional cost of 12 euros per day per person which we never took advantage of, as the other sunbeds were really comfortable. We are planning to return to the Nestor in 2022 for our 20th Wedding Anniversary and cant wait.
Special thankyous go to Ikas, Christos and Dennis in the restaurant, Meghan (you know who you are) and her Husband Christof in the Bar, Christina for tirelessly keeping the pool area immaculate and waiting on everybody hand and foot during the day. Dimitrius for all your hard work keeping the Entertainment going, Stelios the bar and restaurant Manager, what an absolute professional and true Gentleman and last but not least, Olga and Paul in Reception, you have made the biggest impact on our holiday and its safe to say we have made a new friend in Paul and look forward to seeing you all again next year. Thank you so much to everyone.

Another fantastic two week holiday at the Nestor. Very high standard of cleanliness throughout all areas everywhere is spotless. All staff so helpful friendly and professional, a fantastic choice of food at all meal times and good quality too which is constantly being replenished. Our room spacious and bed very comfortable with clean towels daily and bedding changed every two days toiletries replaced if requested and tea, coffee pods and water left daily to use in kettle or coffee machine. Had hairdryer in room as well as a small fridge and digital safe and the Wi Fi connection was good in all areas. Hotel is in great location for beach 5 mins,Ayia Napa center 5 mins other direction with restaurants shops bars all close, but the hotel and surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. Must mention Gregory Jet2 rep a great guy who will go out of his way to help you , still walks round pool most days to make sure everything is ok for everyone Brilliant guy credit to Jet2. You can't go wrong if you book this hotel as you are made so welcome all the staff are happy and put a great effort into making sure you have a great holiday. Can't say much more except it's a fantastic place to stay so don't hesitate just book and go definitely returning again ourselves.

The pool makes this hotel, the beds at the side of the pool with jets are €20 per day for 2 but well worth it as you get water, fruit, ice cream and a freezing flannel. Be careful of the steps as fell in a few times lol. Buzzer on the beds so they cater to all your needs, Christina the life guard makes your stay a pleasure she is brilliant… best staff member by far!!!!
Not many beds for size of hotel so if you want one you need to be up at crack of dawn… 8-8:30 or forget it even the ones you pay for.
They seem to allow people to reserve beds even though it says they don’t, this was frustrating as we don’t like getting up early on holiday just to get a bed..got down at 11am one morning and had to go out all day as no beds and you could clearly see people had got up put towels on bed and gone out or back to bed and not used.
Entertainment day and night not great, everyone I spoke to agreed, I know you’re relaxing but need more enthusiasm for people to join in and be made aware of what is happening would be good. Very quiet. So be aware if you have a family or want to stay in the hotel in evenings, you probably won’t.
Staff generally polite but customer service is not their top priority it’s more follow the rules and that’s that, no accommodating requests.
Towels are free to use but some are poor quality and need replacing as falling apart at edges. After check out you can keep towels with deposit which is stupid -no one would keep them? So found that strange and just another example of no accommodation outside rules. A day card pass would resolve for example or passport like other people have said.
Rooms kept clean and basic, hairdryer brilliant, shower floor when wet very slippery and could tell beds made but not change. Had a birthday there and was given bottle of wine and fruit which was a nice touch.
Food good.
Overall I would say needs better entertainment day and evening…better customer service… take a leaf out of Christina’s book.
Now only major complaint was the maintenance men, very rude, we were blamed when the safe wouldn’t open and threatening with being charged €200 when it turned out to be faulty. He did apologise but to be honest there was no need to be rude and angry with us in the 1st place blaming us for banging it and getting it stuck? He was very stressed…but Who would do that on purpose. I Didn’t say anything to reception as knew they wouldn’t care or do anything anyway.
Location brilliant, close enough to everything a minutes walk to end of the street and you have restaurants and shops galore, but not in the hustle and bustle if you don’t want it either. Square of Ayia napa around 5 mins walk.
I would go back so that probably tells you all you need to know with a few minor changes this would be a 5 star hotel.

Me and my partner went to this hotel all inclusive for 7 nights in October, throughout this time the staff at reception, the restaurant and the bar were unbelievably rude and made us feel extremely uncomfortable.
Being a younger couple we felt as though we were overlooked and treated very differently to the other guests. Upon our stay we spoke to another couple who said they felt exactly the same.
Although the hotel was quiet we were put in a room at the back of the hotel with twin beds. When we asked if we could swap to a room to one with a double bed we were told it would be an extra change of €20 a day for an upgrade and the lady was extremely rude and dismissive. When we spoke with the manager he swapped the rooms for us and explained there was no need to upgrade as he could give us the same room just with a double bed. Which is what we wanted in the first place.
At the bar my boyfriend asked for a glass of water to take back to the sunbed. The women rolled her eyes and said ive already given you two bottles of water today, when that was our first drink of the day. He said that wasn’t true as he hadn’t had a drink yet and she continued to argue with him then went ‘it mustn’t of been you then’ and slammed the drink down.
When in the restaurant, the staff taking your orders seemed really temperamental and were constantly storming past or pushing in front of you. At one point a tray of food was taken off the buffet when I was mid way through getting something off it.
Around the pool the attendant was very rude and actually slightly intimidating, when asking for my used towel she said ‘pass me that towel’ and snatched it from my hands. To which the person next to us commented on how rude she was.
The Hotel itself is absolutely lovely, the pool area is gorgeous and rooms are very clean and air conditioned. Throughout the stay we spoke to four nice members of staff who were each tipped as we were so used to being spoken to badly. I continuously felt like a burden to the majority of staff and as a result, has put us off staying at the hotel again and have told our friends and family who were looking to go, not to bother.

Dear Chlloe, Please accept my huge surprise for the above review of yours. For the specific staff of concern mentioned we were having very good comments up to now. Additionally, in general, the 92% of all our reviews are extremely positive, and only the 2% gave the hotel only 2 stars rating. At Nestor Hotel the 'customer care' mentality is very high !! Thank you for choosing Nestor for your holidays and i really do expect to welcome you once again hoping to give us the opportunity to serve you in the best possible way we can !!! Yours Sincerely ! The Nestor Hotel, we had the privilege to stay here last month, and had the best experience, since lock down. It felt so safer than the UK. The Nestor had the best hygiene rules in place. The staff instructed every guest to follow the rules, of masks and gloves, and of course hand sanitised all over the hotel, only two people in the lift. The Nestor staff at the same time, made sure that every guest was having a joyful time, being up best trying to make guests relax, and forgetting the hard times ahead. The bar staff Vista's and Lucas and the girls, made our holuday. Also Christina the pool hostess, was fantastic. Well done the staff of the Nestor Hotel. We will be back as soon as we can.

First of all, we would just like to give a huge thanks to Paul who was one of the receptionists. He made us feel so welcome and he was extremely helpful, whatever we needed he would provide for us. For example, we had bought back some food that we couldn't finish in the restaurant and we had left it in the fridge in our hotel room, when we was ready to eat it Paul kindly provided us with cutlery, plates and even warmed up our food for us bare in mind it was around 11pm.
The other members of staff were helpful too, providing us with fresh blankets. The food was also amazing with such a great selection.
One of the cleaners, we can't remember her name, but she was so amazing, we often take long to get ready so she would patiently wait for us to get ready before doing such a great job of cleaning our room. She was also so friendly and always happy which was nice to see.
The hotel is in a great area, surrounded by almost everything, it's near a supermarket, the museum, dune buggy/quad bike hire, restaurants and the strip in general. It's about a 10-15 minute drive to Nissi Beach from the hotel. We would highly recommend this place and we would definitely go back.
The pool is also extremely pretty btw, and the cocktails are dope. One thing to note is that the indoor pool isn't heated but that isn't an issue tbh. Other than that the facilities are great.

Dear Guests, Thank you for taking from your valuable time to prepare the above review! We wish to clarify that the indoor swimming is heated. Usually is heated during the months of March, April and May. June is considered to be a summer season month and the pool is not supposed to be heated as the weather outside is so hot! We are all expecting to visit us again and we shall be here for you! Yours Sincerely !

We have mixed reviews on the Nestor, staff held it up but the hotel itself isn’t the greatest…
Firstly, the positives, we were all inclusive and there was always food for us to eat, myself, my partner and my 8 year old daughter didn’t go hungry for any meal…. The staff in the restaurant especially ‘Violeta’ were a credit, always smiling, very attentive and just generally gave a positive vibe… the cleaning staff throughout the hotel were also amazing, rooms sorted everyday, beds pristine…. The routine and depth of the cleaning around the pool in the morning was like a military operation and was very reassuring to see!
Reception staff, always polite, always helpful couldn’t really ask for much more from them…
I have a few gripes about the hotel, firstly, we booked a ‘superior’ room, definitely don’t think the word superior should ever be used to describe the room, this was raised to our jet2 rep, and then raised further to management in the hotel, although the lady just seemed to want to argue about the other rooms that there were, which frankly was irrelevant… if you book something that says ‘superior’ then you’d expect abit more than basic… one of the managers of the hotel did understand my objections and was abit more apologetic…
The rooms were small, 2 single beds pushed together and then a small ‘camping style’ bed next to those for our daughter was abit disappointing for ourselves, a lack of plug sockets in rooms wasn’t convenient either… take an extension lead…. Im not daft, I know you can’t just change the size of the room or the amount of plug sockets with ease… just don’t label it as ‘superior’ as you’re just asking for people to be unsatisfied…
The pool, aesthetically pleasing but that’s the full extent of it, if you’re going as a family, just bare in mind that toys are a no go… inflatables are a no, balls are a no, we didn’t see anything about this prior to booking so we spent the week diving for diving sticks and leaving the ball in the room gathering dust, I understand health and safety but I just think these are extreme, makes me feel like they just want to be an adults only hotel..
Entertainment was questionable, it’s the start of the season so I imagine it’s just teething problems, but we didn’t see much in the way of structure for the kid’s entertainment, the evening entertainment was fine, abit of a cheesy feel to it, but it did entertain and if nothing else encouraged a singalong and provided a decent backdrop to family fun….
I wouldn’t go to the Nestor again just for the reasons stated, I’ve stayed in 4* hotels in various countries and I wouldn’t put this with most of those, I get it’s just a ticking box thing for getting your stars but just couldn’t help but feel disappointed by the experience….

We booked and weeks stay on all inclusive. This was our first stay at this hotel and would certainly recommend to friends and family.
Nice Welcome from Paul on Reception and everything explained.
Hotel is in a great location just a short walk to the beach, harbour and shopping area.
All staff are very friendly in the restaurant and bar. Excellent choice of food at all meals the only thing I would say is the temperature of the food could be warmer. The themed nights are excellent but we missed out on Saturdays meal(Western BBQ) due to arriving at midnight and having to leave on departure day for the coach transfer at 7:05pm.
The pool area is nice and relaxing. Nice to see a hotel which you don’t have to put your towel out by 6/7am. The cleaners are cleaning so you don’t need to go down till about 8:30am and plenty of sun beds are available. The luxury sun beds are well worth paying for you are looked after by Christina who brings you water, fresh fruit and cold face cloths.
Rooms and very spacious and clean and the beds are very comfortable. Rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed.
My husband used the gym twice and said it was one of the best hotel gyms he had used.
It was nice to see Maria and Liliana again after 5 years and thank you for looking after us.
We are returning in May 2023 and looking forward to it already and seeing all the staff again.

Just returned from a week here and we can not fault the hotel at all. We travelled as a group of 8 ladies, age ranging from 40-73 for a birthday celebration and we really weren’t disappointed.
The food is fantastic, variety every day for breakfast, lunch and evening meal. We particularly liked each night being a different theme, meaning there was so much variety.
The rooms were clean and perfectly sized for what we needed. Housekeeping did a very good job every day cleaning and topping up anything we needed.
In my opinion and what made this hotel stand out was the service and staffing levels. Nothing was too much trouble for all the staff and you didn’t have to wait for anything. There was plenty of people on hand to serve drinks, clear tables and generally take care of you. I think when you go all inclusive sometimes this is where a hotel can go wrong but not here. Drinks are brought to your table at all meals and in the evening when watching the shows and we never had to queue at the bar to get a drink during the day.
The pool is also fabulous with plenty of space and beds no matter what time of day.
Spa is also lovely and a few of us enjoyed a lovely massage.
Like I said at the beginning I can not fault this hotel it’s in a perfect location to be able to relax and enjoy a quiet evening, take a stroll to the harbour, wander round the many shops nearby or have a night out at the busy nightlife.
Well done Nestor and thank you for a wonderful week away with friends.

+1
We booked all inclusive and it didn’t disappoint, the buffet food was lovely for breakfast lunch and dinner. Each night there was a different theme (Greek, Mexican, Italian etc) and had lots of options. All the waiters were very attentive and quick to clear our plates and take our drink orders. They were all so welcoming and pleasant. The all inclusive drink options were great but some of the cocktails were watered down. You can purchase the sun beds on the pool for €15 and get waited on by the lifeguard by pressing a buzzer. It also included free fruit kebabs and an ice cream which was great. The room was so clean and throughly cleaned everyday (the hotel was very clean and was constantly cleaned throughout the day). Big shout out to Paul who was so friendly when we arrived and was very informative. The location of this hotel was perfect, so close to lots of bars, restaurants and shops and wasn’t too loud at night. We only stayed in one night and the bingo and play your cards right hosted by “Elvis” was great. Each night there was different entertainment which was great if you wanted to stay in. The pool was lovely with jets at one end where you could sit, but it was very cold! I also enjoyed a full body massage for €50 but this was from a deal and without one I think they can be quite expensive. Overall it was a lovely week away and we enjoyed our stay.
