Stayed for 4 nights HB we have stayed before in a Deluxe room this time there was only superior available and honestly if you ask for a pool view there is very little difference. The best sleep we had the beds are super comfy. We didn't use the sunbeds in the pool as the free ones are fantastic. Location is 2nd to none you are walking distance to the sea and the bars but hotel is really relaxing and quiet. We were sent a complimentary bottle of wine and a fruit basket with a welcome back card which was a lovely touch . We will definitely be back best hotel in ayia napa.

We booked and weeks stay on all inclusive. This was our first stay at this hotel and would certainly recommend to friends and family. Nice Welcome from Paul on Reception and everything explained. Hotel is in a great location just a short walk to the beach, harbour and shopping area. All staff are very friendly in the restaurant and bar. Excellent choice of food at all meals the only thing I would say is the temperature of the food could be warmer. The themed nights are excellent but we missed out on Saturdays meal(Western BBQ) due to arriving at midnight and having to leave on departure day for the coach transfer at 7:05pm. The pool area is nice and relaxing. Nice to see a hotel which you don’t have to put your towel out by 6/7am. The cleaners are cleaning so you don’t need to go down till about 8:30am and plenty of sun beds are available. The luxury sun beds are well worth paying for you are looked after by Christina who brings you water, fresh fruit and cold face cloths. Rooms and very spacious and clean and the beds are very comfortable. Rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed. My husband used the gym twice and said it was one of the best hotel gyms he had used. It was nice to see Maria and Liliana again after 5 years and thank you for looking after us. We are returning in May 2023 and looking forward to it already and seeing all the staff again. Paula and Stephen

Not only is this hotel clean, modern and in a great location, if you suffer with coeliac disease this hotel will go above and beyond. When choosing a hotel, this is so important to us, as many places do not accommodate. However, the restaurant staff were so helpful and every meal time, we were recognised and asked if we’d like anything specific! They will even make things fresh for you! Big shout out to Stella, Violetta and Mimi for being awesome! We arrived quite late and was greeted by the friendliest face (Paul at reception!) I immediately felt comfortable and happy to ask lots of questions which Paul didn’t mind at all! He was so helpful and we loved seeing him every night after we’d been out! We rented the premium beds numerous times because of Christina. The service she provided was amazing and we felt like royalty! You get treated to cold flannels, fruit salads, drinks and more! (Would 1000% recommended getting these beds!) they are super comfy and the parasols are so much bigger and better than the standard ones. The pool area is always lovely and clean and the pool is very big with jacuzzi beds at the end which are a great touch! We decided to have treatments after speaking to Anka who explained the treatments/ prices etc. We had a full body massage and facial done by Adina - it was brilliant and we felt fantastic afterwards! The spa looks and smells amazing! The people who work at this hotel really do make it and have made our stay here truly memorable. We cannot thank you all enough for looking after us so well! We’ve had the perfect holiday and won’t even consider going anywhere else now! Thank you so much Hannah and Stella Cerreoni-Huitt

We booked a week stay bed and breakfast and the Nestor and would definitely recommend to others. Breakfast (only food we had) - was possibly the best breakfast we have ever had in - hotel. Staff - Everyone we came across was super friendly and helpful. Rooms and hotel itself - very spacious and clean, very comfortable bed. Pool area - really nice, extremely comfy loungers! The front ones you need to pay for but get booked up fast. Location - amazing, close to everything but surprisingly quiet. The reasons we didn’t rate this a 5 is because of the following- Everyday we put on our do not disturb light as we was happy keeping our own room tidy. This was ignored everyday and cleaners still cleaned our room, once someone just entered our room whilst we was still asleep before 9am. Not good if you want privacy! Black mould on our ceiling which we had to complain about 3 times . This did get wiped with bleach in the end. We was offered another room but didn’t want the hassle of moving as we liked everything else about the room. One night maintenance staff came in our room and accused us of smoking but none of us are smokers and our alarm never even went off. That was abit confusing. Overall we would defiantly return and recommend to others.

We stayed at this hotel for four days. After an initial few hiccups, we were moved to a Junior suite, and I have to say if you can afford one, these are the rooms to have. Very spacious and ours had a wonderful full view of the pool. Room was serviced every day and a bottle of water left. The pool is fantastic, you can pay for one of the luxury beds, which we did once but in all honesty found the free ones to be more comfortable. Poolside and evening entertainment was run by Dimitri, lovely man who engaged with all guests and was a lot of fun. We only saw the Greek evening which was a great night. It perhaps would be useful if reception had local maps they could offer guests. We had a lovely time at this hotel, upgraded to half board for our stay, maybe this would become a bit repetitive for longer but it was certainly value for money. It was also very, very quiet, which was a surprise. Would recommend .

Mr Stelios, the hotel manager, was extremely rude to myself and my partner when we raised an issue with some of the maintenance staff. We were woken by a member of the maintenance team knocking on the door at 5:20 am who claimed to have spoken to my partner on the phone however we had not received any calls. The staff member insisted on checking the fuse board for which I allowed him into the room to do and then he left. To try and find out what was going on, we rang reception to be told this was a security issue and that it was not a reception issue. Then at 8:05 am a different staff member knocked and as I shouted to tell him I was I was putting some clothes on then coming to the door but he entered the room with his own key anyway. We then found out that both people were looking for a fire alarm signal. We were accused of smoking in the room by this person, when neither of us were awake nor are we smokers. The guy then left and we went down to reception to find out what was going off and why people were disturbing us in the night. Maria was helpful and raised this concern with the hotel manager. Upon meeting Mr. Stelios, I explained the circumstances to which he followed up with investigation. Upon checking out we were told that he would like to talk to us about what happened so we sat down for what I expected to be an apology. Instead after a while going round in circles and Mr. Stelios backtracking and contradicting everything he said, he claimed that we had fabricated parts of our story and that we had answered the phone to his staff and given them permission to come in. This was not the case so we requested he checked our rooms phone records to which he instantly refused. I tried to be understanding where he was coming from but he proceeded to call us liars at which point I decided to end the conversation. It was a real shame to end our holiday in this way because for the most part we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Nestor. The food, drinks and location were good and everything was kept clean and tidy. I’d like to thank all the hospitality staff for making our holiday so good.

Response from Nicos Pharmakalides, General Manager at Nestor Hotel

Dear Guests, I have talked with our Food & Beverage Manager of the Hotel providing adequate explanations of what happened and i would like to apologize to you for the whole obviously misunderstanding. The hotel's fire alarm system went off indicating a possible fire in your room specifically. This alarm went off twice, 5.00 in the morning and 8.00 in the morning. According to the protocol for such cases the staff applied the procedure in both cases . After having visited the room immediately fortunately was proved that both alarms were fault (not real). Above all in such cases the safety of our guests is of a high priority. I am obliged though to say the staff did not approach you in a proper manner. I wish to assure you that the hotel will continue the training of the staff for a proper handling of such cases! We are all hoping to joining us again soon. Yours Sincerely !

Had an amazing holiday at the Nestor, It was our first time at this hotel and definitely will be coming again. It was our first family holiday with my Son who was 3 months. All staff was amazing, Christina who works around the pool was fantastic. We paid for the 15euro beds everyday as was ideal for my son and we upgraded to all inclusive once at the hotel, was definitely worth it.
