Stayed here 2 weeks in October 2019 Half board. which cost us an extra £400 for the meals. Could only book a sea View room, with twin beds on the web, so rang the hotel to see if there was a double bed room availabled sea view and they said they would give us a suitable room. On arrival we found that they had given us a double room without the sea view, for which we also paid extra. Reception said they would have a seaview room available the next day and we could move then. So first day was living out of a suitcase, till they moved us to the room we really requested. Two days later the hot water supply failed, and they said there was nothing they could do about it, but we could change rooms again to fix the problem, so another day packing up to move took half a day to complete due to room needing cleaning. The other problem was the food at dinner. It is advertised as a 4star Cypriot family run hotel so we hoped for some good Cypriot food on the menue and a good standard of food as a 4 star hotel. Sadly the food at Dinner was very limited. and always barely warm. The choices were very poor, . Desserts virtually consisted of three different coloured large sponge cakes each night, a bit of fruit and nuts. The only reason we gave 3 Stars was because the staff were freindly and helpful within their availability to help. The rooms and hotel grounds were clean and pleasant, with a big pool area and always plenty of sun beds. Cooked meals at the pool bar were good but cost extra. …
We went at the very end of the summer season. The cleaning staff work very hard. The waiting staff work very hard. The weather was lovely and hot about 27°.. The bus into Ayia Napa costs about €1.50 so not too expensive...too far to walk in the heat. Bar manager Dino excellent, has a dry sense of humour.. Room ok but needed toilet seat and soap dish fixing. No hot water for three days as it took that long for someone to do something about it, even when we had mentioned it. Swimming Pool absolutely freezing to the point of making my body numb...so not sure the pool is in any way heated. The 'hot'food was cold, warm at best and very unappetising. Drinks package very odd, as we couldnt drink non alcoholic cocktails...and only small measures... We went all inclusive, a big mistake...if you want to go...go bed and breakfast..but ask the food to be microwaved if you like your cooked breakfast hot...…
We stayed as a couple to attend a family Wedding in the nearly Tui Hotel but the Tui flights were dreadful and All Inclusive isn’t for us as we like to sample the nearby restaurants so the Christofinia in a B & B bases seemed to fit the bill. As usual there were some worrying negative reviews: but all in all we had little to complain about.. breakfast.. how anyone can complain about that is beyond me! There is so much choice, cooked, pastries, fruit cereal, fresh pancakes etc etc the only small gripe was the hot food could have been hotter ... our room was very comfortable good size plenty of storage, the addition of the fridge is fab, our room was at the rear of the hotel so the balcony didn’t get much sun and overlooked a roof but this meant it was very quiet.. the only small complaint would be we couldn’t seem to get the air conditioning cold enough. We never had a issue with any of the staff we called upon the receptionist to sort a problem with the safe and for help with a iron for our Wedding outfits and both times they were very pleasant, cleaners work tirelessly and seem to come every day .. as I said we just use Hotels as a base so can’t comment on bar staff as we ate out every night...highly recommend Dione Restaurant across the road, the only one we went back twice. It’s a very nice well located hotel near the beaches although Nissi gets cramped so we went to Landa Beach just up the road. We did find the area was very quiet, there was little or no entertainment in most of the bars/restaurants, Aiyia Napa is a short taxi ride away but we are in our late 40’s so just would have liked a bar near Nissi to sit in eat and listen to a tribute act or something? We had a enjoyable stay in the location we needed ..…
First of all I would just like to say that this hotel is really not as bad as some of the reviews make out! All the staff were really friendly and helpful and we couldn't fault any of them. The bar manager Deano especially made us feel really welcome and he is a credit to the hotel! The rooms were spacious and cleaned frequently and we had clean towels every day. We were all-inclusive but we didn't eat in the hotel every day. We found breakfast to be the best meal of the day although it would have been better if it was served until a little later as we only just managed to get down before the 10am cut off time! Although it was quite repetitive there was plenty of choice and something for everyone. The pool area was really nice and spacious and there were always plenty of empty sunbeds. Overall we had a lovely stay at the Christofinia and a fantastic first visit to Cyprus!…
Well arrived at this hotel at 11.30 at night as a bride and groom to be after losing our holiday and wedding package when Thomas cook went bust the hotel were pre warned we were coming for a wedding which never once in the whole two weeks was acknowledged once when we arrive at reception was met with very unenthusiastic staff and when asked if there was anything to eat we were directed down to the main road and round the corner to a bakers!!! So by the time we checked in was 12 we were wandering around after travelling all day looking for food Then when leaving we paid 50 euros to keep the room on as we had a late flight then to be told to get out of the dining room that we couldn’t have anything to eat we paid between the four of us 6200 for this holiday. We won’t be back. The only good things about this hotel are deano in the bar ur a credit to the place and can not fault the cleaning staff a bit of advice if u have future brides coming to your hotel make them feel special …
