The staff are really lovely, kind and friendly, they all work super hard. I get the impression some aren’t enjoying their work and that’s quite sad, selfishly also to be around that whilst on holiday can be a bit of a downer, they seem overworked and underpaid. We are a middle aged couple with teenage daughter and older parents and this place is not aimed at us. It’s aimed at youngsters who want the fun of Ayia napa in my view. It’s on the edge of town, about 10 mins walk from centre. The hotel room is ok, mattresses are quite old and stained. The fridge is old and has leaked onto the cabinet below damaging it. The balcony is small but quite nice. There are 3 of us in this room and the 3rd bed is a zed bed, luckily my daughter (15), isn’t too fussy. The bathroom is fine, shower works. Floor tiled so all ok here really. Downstairs pool area could be beautiful, overlooks the sea and it’s really pretty but the furniture is all cheap plastic, aimed at the youngsters that come in the summer no doubt. The pool is gorgeous, clean, big and beautiful. At the pool you have to drink out of plastic, no good for us but I understand why it’s a must sadly. The worse thing about the pool is the absolutely horrendous Ibiza tunes they blast all day, it’s awful. I couldn’t sit down there. My daughter liked them though so clearly that’s the aim for the youngsters. We ate breakfast, that is nice, The pancake man (Nicola), is very nice indeed and his pancakes and omelettes are lovely. The girls on reception are adorable, so hard working, and all the staff actually as I mentioned before. Places to visit; the harbour is lovely. My daughter and hubby had a great karaoke session at the queen vic. Can recommend Nikitas (steakhouse), restaurant and De Medici (Italian), both really professional staff, great food. Can recommend a day out on Captain Marcos boat to swim by the sea caves and see the turtles, pick the boat up at the harbour. €20 online. We had a couple of lovely days out at fig tree bay and Kalamies beach, on the opposite side of the island. The hotel definitely isn’t 4 star but it didn’t cost that either so maybe it’s fair if a bit misleading. I wouldn’t return but I probably would’ve loved it 20 years ago. Thanks to all the staff you are amazing Mwa x Alison and family

Stayed for a week with a friend, the area is fantastic and the staff were lovely including the cleaning ladies. Even better everyone in ayia napa pretty much spoke English so felt very comfortable. We used all inclusive for the week however we’re a-bit disappointed in the food so chose to eat out most of the time as very basic flavouring and not a lot of choice for evening meals. Breakfast was the best out of it all. The bedroom was lovely as we had a sea view but I would say the hotel needs a good refurb with the corridors and the decoration in bathrooms as toilet running all night and kept us awake. Would not exactly say meets a modern 4 star expectation. Also had to pay extra for wifi even as all inclusive guest and wouldn’t expect that with 4 star rating. You had to pay for bottled water so we went a bought from local shop as much cheaper but shouldn’t have to do this as inclusive. Most sun beds are broken and uncomfortable. The hallways aren’t cleaned as could tell from all the bits on the carpet throughout didn’t get the wow factor on arrival. but like I said can’t fault the staff. Overall wouldn’t stay here again unless Anmaria ups it’s game and matched a 4 star or even aimed for 5 star.

I stayed at this hotel in October 2022 and there were good and bad points about it. The good points were, the room was really nice, the bar staff were all friendly & it was always really quick service for drinks. The snack food provided was nice, there were nuggets, chips and pizza served between lunch and dinner . There are waiters that took your drinks order at dinner which is nice so you had service instead of having to get up during dinner. It was in a good location- walk right out into a street of lots of restaurants and the strip is about a 5/10 min walk away if you want to have a night out, lots of nice bars on this street too. The gym is good and the inside pool is relaxing Bad points However, there were some bad points. Even though the snack food was nice the all inclusive food was hit and miss, with only a couple of things being nice at each dinner. Quite a lot of the sun beds are broken or are breaking so was uncomfortable. In our room there was constant noise all night from the toilet which kept us up. When sleeping you can always here people still and it keeps you up. The shower head was really small so was hard to shower and get your whole body covered and it turned cold one evening so we had to have cold showers for the rest of the day. The main bad point for me was the wifi which was really slow and kept disconnecting the whole time I was there. And also the description of the hotel says the hotel is right on a beach which is true but the beach that it is on has literally nothing on it -no beds, literally is just sand and is awful. Overall the stay was decent for what we paid but I wouldn’t go back.

Spent a week at this hotel all inclusive and to be honest was very disappointed. From the outside the hotel looks ok but once you get up close its a bit dated and of need of a refit. Are room was ok but not as nice as the pictures portrayed online so usable. The food was ok for the first couple of days but not great maybe 4 out of 10 and after 4 days we started eating out even though we were all inclusive. Staff were very friendly and helpful and drinks were ok but the place was dead in the evening no entertainment until last but one night when a singer played outside by the pool. If your going to stay here don't go all inclusive.

We have just spent a week at the Ann Marie in Ayia Napa which I can only say was nothing like we expected!!! The hotel it’s self is in a good position which is probably the only good thing . The sun beds around the pool were all broken and we’re dangerous let alone uncomfortable! We had to go to the beach everyday and pay out to hire sun beds! Which you do not expect from a 4 star hotel! The food was so basic and the hygiene in the food hall was terrible with ants everywhere! You had to pay for bottled water! Which I have never known in an all inclusive package. We would not class this as a 4 star hotel and won’t be returning

So I really wanted to write a review because I was so worried before arriving because of all the bad reviews on here. Now we’re pretty easy going so I’m not too fussy but I was generally concerned how our stay was going to be First of all we booked all inclusive, family of 4 2 young children. We arrived at 6 am very tired got to our room all set up great for the kids. Yes the corridor carpets are dated but that didn’t bother us. Our room was lovely I would say half modern half dated. We got fresh towels everyday and was kept clean which was lovely. We had a sea/pool view which was really lovely, it looked like the majority of the guests got this. I would say there were mainly couples here at Anmaria The staff were all very friendly to us, and loved the kids. They probably could have made a bit more of an impression on tidiness around the pool area. They probably know it will end up with drink cups and sun beds everywhere but it would look so much better if they cleaned up and put the beds under the umbrellas making it look nice for the following day. This is just something a 4 star hotel would do but I know it comes down to guests aswell, you get the odd few who really don’t care. The location is literally perfect. We had the best time and loved walking around the whole area. The walk along the beach is lovely and has lots more potential for them to finish some areas. Our favourite beach was sandy bay which is a 10 minute walk and the harbour is so lovely also a 10 minute walk We actually were really happy with the food. The breakfast was really nice hot food and fruits They make omelettes and pancakes for you. We sometimes missed lunch as we were at the beach but the times we did go it was good. Maybe not as much of an atmosphere. If they played some light music which they did the last 2 nights would feel better. Dinner was really nice , if you get down at the start it’s actually all boiling. I personally thought there was good options Fish meats rice pasta loads of fresh salad bars Desert bar and fruit and ice cream We booked our holiday with such a good deal and price I was totally happy with our stay in the end. We did try the indoor pool once and it was so warm and nice for my kids to have a good swim without feeling to freezing (outdoor pool is cold) All in all I think Anmaria is definitely more of a 3 star not a 4. But we were happy with our stay

Would not recommend this hotel. The staff didn't seem happy in their job, very rarely spoke or smile. Around the pool didn't get cleaned until we mentioned it on day three, cups left empty on the floor, ashtrays full, socks left in the bushes, dirty tables and broken sun beds. The rooms didn't get cleaned properly. My cigarettes went missing, not sure if they were thrown in the bin or stolen but the cleaner denied seeing them, even thou my lighter was still there. Only one of the receptionist made an effort to sort things out, but to be honest a waste of time complaining. Breakfast was good but the rest of the snacks and meals were awful. Dried out, bland and repetitive. We went to book a massage and told they don't do them, even though it was in their advertising. Entertainment was not advertised well, no times put up so we didn't think there was any, then found out it started at 10pm.

Horrible food only breakfast was decent. Rooms were old. We order drinks from this girl Klaudia she was late 20 minutes every day. Maria and Angelo were very rude and the hotel needs a management check asap. The staff in the night shift didn’t know any English ffs Christina at the reception was lovely and Katerina as well.

I'm at this hotel now and they play the same you tube house mix constantly all day long around the pool its very loud and relentless. It's like sitting g on a nightclub. AWFUL. If you ask then to turn it down or change the music they pretend they dont speak English or know how to work the laptop. The food is cheap, there are no mattress protectors on the beds, the sunloungers are old, dirty and tatty. And as mentioned before the never ending thump thump of the very loud music. I'm sure no one enjoys this. They even play the adverts ffs I'm gonna complain to Tui
