We finally tied the knot 10th June 2022 at Asterias Beach Hotel in Cyprus and it was well worth the wait!!!! Our venue was Asterias Beach Hotel in Ayia Napa. It was the most perfect place for a wedding I can’t even explain how beautiful the views are. AND ITS PRIVATE! We got married on the panorama terrace and had our canapés up there for a couple hours. We had our sax player playing tunes whilst everyone had their drinks and canapés and it was such a good chilled out vibe. I could have stayed up there all day!! It’s set out so that the bar area was in the shade (June) which was good for us, and the little gazebos dotted about that people can sit in is such a good idea. Guests loved it and everyone was just floating about taking in the views, having Chloe Lee’s amazing icecream and just enjoying themselves 😁 the canapés were beaut 😋 We then had our reception on the KORALLI rooftop at the same venue and this was also just beautifullllll, it looked amazing and it’s such a good space for a wedding. The fairy lights at night looked absolutely magical and we just loved being up there dancing under them!! The food was gorgeous, we had a bbq buffet so everyone could get a bit of everything. My only regret of the day is that I didn’t eat more 😂. The staff (from the hotels wedding team to bar and waiters) were so attentive and nothing too much trouble. The beautiful lady Monalita even took me for a wee and helped me out my dress so my bridesmaids could enjoy their day, cheers love 😂! The dj we had was provided by the hotel and he was soooo so good, played everything we asked for and kept the party going all night! Chloe Lee from Oceanview Weddings provided our love lights, icecream, the amazing decor, round arch and sourced our flowers. I can’t get over how amazing my flowers were I loved them so much! Another thing to mention which I think is important, you can get the most beautiful photos on the beach there. We only had to nip off for ten minutes to get our beach photos because our priority was being with our guests 😄 If anyone is thinking of getting married at Asterias Beach Hotel dooooo it, feel free to ask me any questions. It was so private, beautiful and just perfect. Chloe Lee has such a good relationship with the hotel and she’s amazing so I would 10000% recommend her as your planner 🥰

I was in Cyprus last week with my family for the second time at Asterias Beach Hotel! The hotel I would recommend to everyone- very good food, friendly staff (George Mouratis), cool entertainment group (pink_wave_animation Giacomo, Adel) a lot of love for you all and thank you for making our vacation more beautiful, and also the cleanliness in the rooms. The hotel is also located on the most beautiful beach in Cyprus. I will definitely come again.❤️

This hotel was amazing from start to finish. Me and my partner chose this hotel to marry on the 6th of June and was worried as due to covid was unable to view the venue personally before hand. But what a good choice we made! It truly was more than we could have wished for. The wedding planner Suzanne and manalita were so helpful and organised they really did a fantastic job which made the day run so smoothly and better than I could have imagined. The staff at Asterias go above and beyond and always greet you with a smile. There was a big group of us staying at this hotel and they always made sure we were seated together which was so helpful. Overall if you are thinking of booking this hotel for your special day we would highly recommend it and if it's just for a holiday you won't regret it 🥰

Before we flew i read the reviews which werent the best so was abit nervous, however i dont know what people were complaining about its beautiful here!! We arrived late and they had put a plate of sandwiches in our room for us as we had missed dinner, which i was thought was very thoughtful of them! We was all inclusive, yes the reviews are correct in having to pay for premium however the standard is perfectly fine. You dont get branded drinks however vodka is vodka in my eyes...my partner didnt care. You dont get milkshakes which is a shame because they are amazing but you dont mind paying every now and then. The food was lovely, different theme for dinner everynight. Breakfast and lunch pretty much the same but so much variety! Mix of salads, meat, hot foods and soups. We had a standard room which again was lovely! The main pool is good, the kids loved it and you can take your inflatables in the pool too which was nice for the kids. Highly recommend getting food at the Levels beach club which is on site, you will need to pay for this on all inclusive but was amazing food! The only slight downfall would be the childrens evening entertainment, maybe because we are english and have a different sense of humour however it was quite inappropriate for kids. Talking about playboy and borrowing your friends wife....bit weird and hard to explain to your 4 and 8 year old.... The staff were lovely and helpful! Be nice and polite to them and they will be the same in return. Other than that was an amazing hotel and we can not wait to return! When we return we would upgrade to premium as i loved the milkshakes too much!!

Came here for my brothers wedding for a week and was really impressed with everything at the hotel. The food overall was good, the room was really nice and very clean and the service overall was very good the staff all made us feel very welcome and where great during the wedding as well. Was very comfortable as well and was nice to be so close to the beach. Facilities overall was really good. The pink wave animation team where fantastic and made the holiday very enjoyable. They were approachable and made us all feel very welcome. Jack was really nice and engaging. Kevin was really good he made sure that he came to speak to us everyday and was funny and approachable. In particular Adel was fantastic, she was very warm and approachable and funny and made all the activities fun and engaging. Even the workouts she had good knowledge and made very fun with her energy and made it inclusive to everyone, this included Pilates and the water aerobics which I hadn’t done before. They all made our holiday so much better! Overall the evening entertainment was good as well. The one thing I would improve would be to have more pool sports. Definitely one of my favourite holidays and would highly recommend the hotel overall and would come again.

We travelled to Cyprus a year later than planned for a delayed wedding with various guests staying around Nissi Beach. After reading reviews we chose the Astrias Beach Hotel and what a great decision that was. Everything about the hotel was excellent Our room, garden view, was excellent with a very comfy bed a great shower, fridge, TV etc. The room also had a sofa that could have been rolled down into a single. Could not fault the housekeeping team and especially tha lady who cleaned our room who was friendly and did a wonderful job The whole hotel was spotless and the fixtures and fitting top class. I am a picky eater at times not experimenting enough but there was a great choice of food in the main restaurant and it was excellent quality Really friendly team that sorted a table for 7 very quickly at the busiest of times. A good variety of drinks and again great service from the staff and waiting team. Lovely pools and facilities around them the only place it was difficult to find a sun bed was the decking by the sea. Plenty to go round elsewhere with no need to be up at the crack of dawn. There were always beds available for the late sleepers. Well maintained and managed grounds Can't help but praise the hotel enough. The animation team and the entertainment team were also great working so hard to please guests from several countries who had differing likes and spoke many different languages The odd gripe and it was an odd one is I might have caught those on the front desk on a bad day but did not get a very helpful or interested reaction when asking to keep the room on. A terse response of comeback after breakfast in the morning to find out as if she was ready for home and not wanting to sort it. 70euros to keep the room from 12 until 5pm was a bit steep. However don't let my gripe put you off. Our stay was wonderful and a credit goes to everyone in the team for making our stay such a happy and wonderful experience

We stayed at the Asterias Beach Hotel for a week from 25th May. We arrived late in the evening to a warm welcome and informative reception staff and were given directions to our rooms. There was a plate of sandwhiches and fruit waiting for us in the room. We had 1 family room with garden view (which also had a bit of a sea view) and a sea view room for sole use. The view from the sea view room was absolutely stunning with views to Nissi Beach and Ayia Napa lights in the evening and even more breath taking in the day overlooking the beautiful waters of Makronissos. The next morning we decided to upgrade to all inclusive premium to be able to use the A La Carte options, and drinks at Levels Beach bar. We also got wine, fruit and the mini bar stocked in the room and dressing gowns and slippers included (none of which we used to be fair). You also get to dine in the out door undercover area near the pool bar if you are all inclusive premium which is cooler and has better views to the beach. However this did cause a lot of confusion which is no big deal but something the hotel need to address. A few times were were asked to move and told it was for "premium guests" which the staff then saw we had the premium wrist band and were told we could stay. It was no big deal it just makes you feel like a bit of a fool. The last 2 days we were then told we couldnt use this area at all unless we were A La Carte again causing more confusion. The entertainment staff are absolutely amazing, so friendly and make a big fuss of the kids and my children loved to join in the mini disco and after show dancing with them. A huge thanks to Adel who my 5 year old took a shine to, she is a lovely person and never stops smiling and entertaining. My kids loves the mini club which gave them some time out of the son. It seems to run every day although it was closed one day and reception seemed to think it should be open so a bit of confusion there but the kids were happy, so huge thanks to Olivia who runs the kids club! The food at the hotel for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner was all great. Always a different choice of pastas, salads, freshly grilled meats, fish and Cypriot dishes and gyros as well as international nights. Koralli A La Carte fish restaurant was beautiful with great staff, and you can use this up to 35 euros per person if you are all inclusive premium. The Italian A La Carte is served at the main restaurant in a separate section. The food was good and portions huge and again can be used as part of all inclusive premium with up to 35 euros per person. A must is definitely to catch the sunset at the Panorama rooftop bar in the evening, open from 7pm! The place isn't really advertised about the hotel but is a real asset to relax in the evening before dinner and watch the sun go down with the beautiful coastline views. The Bali beds on the beach right outside the hotel are fabulous and cost 30 euros a day which includes 4 bottles of water, they are ideal to chill on the beach in the shade. Sunbeds and umbrellas are also available at a cost of 2.50 euros per bed/umbrella. It was only May and quite busy so I imagine you would need to get down early in high season to get a sunbed but worth it as the beach and water are fabulous! The pools are great but again not too many beds so in high season when the hotel is busier I imagine it will be tricky to get a bed around the main pool which overlooks the sea but the kids pool round the side of the hotel always seemed to have plenty of beds available and it was ideal for little ones with the little splash pool as well and a bar just a few steps away. To sum up the hotel it is in a beautiful location just a step away from Makronissos beach. A taxi to the harbour/Ayia Napa is around 12 euros each way but there is a bus stop a short walk away. There arent a lot of shops, bars or restaurants on your doorstep though. I would recommend upgrading to all inclusive plus but the only disappointing part of our stay here was the confusion with the different board levels as neither guests or staff seemed to know what you could get where, or even where we were allowed to sit which was just a bit uncomfortable at times. Overall though I would highly recommend the hotel for a couple or family holiday. Super clean and tidy hotel and rooms and the food and location is great!

We have found our favourite hotel in Cyprus ❤️ Fabulous family run hotel with great staff who are all so cheerful and helpful. We booked a Superior sea view room and being on the 5th floor had the most amazing views over the beach and extremely comfortable bed. The Asterias is in an excellent location on a stunning beach and with a great bus route less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel it's very easy to visit Paralimni, Protaras, Sea Caves, Sculpture Park, Knossos Bay and Ayia Napa for very little cost! We found the standard AI suited us well with enough choice of drinks at the 4 bars plus enjoyed cocktails at Levels Beach Bar that we charged to our room. The main restaurant is a truly enjoyable place to each lunch and dinner with a good mix of indoor and outdoor dining. The food choices are many and varied and I would like to say a big thank you to Pantelis and the whole food and Beverage team. I have various food allergies and intolerances and I was always offered a meal made for me. However half of the time I was very happy choosing from the buffet as the salads and vegetables are so fresh and tasty and there was always grilled chicken and/or fish to choose too. I tried octopus for the 1st time and it was excellent 👌 We are late risers and there was never any issue with availability of sunloungers and parasols around at least 1 of the 2 fabulous pools at any time of day. I have seen some reviewers 'complain' that the sunbeds and parasols on the beach are not free of charge. This is due to it being a public beach so the municipality run the hire of sunloungers and parasols, not the hotel, and at €2.50 each are a very minimal cost. The hotel is kept spotlessly clean, has great Spa facilities and we will definitely be back 😎

The family run and owned hotel oozes a friendly inviting atmosphere, super beach front location, great food and wonderful Cypriot hospitality. All the hotel staff work tirelessly from the cleaning ladies, waiters, bar staff, chefs, front desk to senior hotel management everyone appeared genuinely happy, friendly and approachable. Great pools, beautiful beach, rooms cleaned every day. Couple of slight negatives, not sure the AI+ is worthy of the additional cost, found the standard AI was good value. Evening entertainment is poor, in 2 weeks there was maybe 2 decent acts. Very little outside the hotel within walking distance, Ayia Napa was approx 8-10 Euros in a taxi. It took me 11 days of our holiday before I tired of the restaurant (at other AI hotels this has generally happened within the 1st week), the variety and quality of food was very good. Can't recommend this hotel enough, will be returning in the future.
