I am not going to write a long detailed review of this hotel. But we have visited this hotel 6 times but this will be our last. This hotel has gone down hill , food was cold , even the cafe next door said quests were eating at their cafe more than at the hotel… that says it all. entertainment was … well , I won’t say as I don’t want to offend. Manager and head receptionist seem to have an attitude, even the long serving staff said it has changed for the worst. Don’t waste your money on this hotel
I have given this hotel a 5 as I really enjoyed my stay here. Quite a modern hotel with an almost perfect location, but its not 4 star! I was in the main building so can't comment on the annex rooms, but I had a side sea view(just about), on the 1st floor, with a huge, comfortable double bed and slept very well. All bar staff except one( an older blonde lady), were polite and chatty. Same goes for restaurant staff. The reception staff however, I've never witnessed anything like it. We were greeted by a lovely old man, who checked us in, just after 11pm. That's as far as it goes. All other reception staff would not even make eye contact, let alone give you a friendly smile! They were seemingly unapproachable. The overall cleanliness was good, but you can see things are just swept, wiped etc Could do with a deep clean and some maintenance is needed i.e. pool toilets and downstairs toilets, the locks all broken and a few loose ceiling tiles. Heard so many complaints about the food whilst there, but I thought most of it was tasty. A little repetitive and yes, some frozen veg, but still tasty and yesterday's left overs being made into something else today is what we all do, dont we? My only complaint was the fruit juice at breakfast. Horrible powdered and undrinkable. The AI drinks were as you would expect. Local beer a few good cocktails, a few bad, and all tasted different depending on who served you. The pool is lovely albeit freezing compared to the warm sea, and the sunbeds are so comfortable. We had a late flight home, so no choice but to approach reception to request a late check out. Surprisingly, for €35 it was granted until 6pm. I would definitely stay here again when in Ayia Napa, and hopefully the management team will sort out the few bad points I've mentioned, to truly make this a 4 star. Thank you Pavlo Napa for a lovely holiday! …
Brilliant hotel right on the beach the sunbeds around pool are so comfortable and modern the pool bar and staff are excellent. What can I say about the rooms they are to the highest standard a absolutely gorgeous. The hotel staff are simply the best. The food is of a high standard and very tasty. Cannot wait to return would highly recommend it
Just returned from yet another amazing trip to the Pavlo! Been coming here for over 10 years now and every year has been amazing. The service, the food and the beautiful new rooms are second to none. As always Stella, Lucas and the team were exceptional in looking after us. We already can’t wait to be back! The bar and restaurant staff, Timi, Costos and the whole team were fantastic as always.
Amazing food!! Pool area very relaxing and the staff is very nice and helpful. The room was very clean. Beautiful view from the room and the beach is 10 footsteps away. I recommend it because it's at a perfect location and has everything close by.
This was our 2nd time at the Pavlo Napa ,our 3rd visit to Cyprus this year and we can't wait to return. The Hotel,Location, food, staff, sunbeds and weather all remain fantastic. I really can't get my head around some negative reviews and I think sometimes people just moan for the sake of it.. I would highly recommend these 2 things . 1, take the offer of a free meal at the hotel beach bar , the food was unbelievable especially the pork chop. 2. Walk towards the hotel beach and turn right and take the 15 minute walk along the coast line to Nissi Beach which is unbelievable, if you like the beach you will have a Great time there. As I say we can't wait to return.
This was our 8th visit to the pavlo napa. Overall renovated room excellent. Staff some of which we have known for years excellent. Pool area especially new sunbeds fabulous. Bar staff especially evo were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast great.cons. food very much the same at lunch and evening meal every day. Chicken pork belly tiny burgers chips and vegetable soup constantly. I could go on.evwn themed nights were no different. Also food was luke warm. Puddings choice of 3 most of the time. Always different coloured blamange. Lunch is now served in hotel and not by pool bar as was before. Pool bar lunch now alacart. You get 1 free meal otherwise you have to pay.food here is excellent. Some all inclusive drinks have now been took off. Have to pay for them.cups in rooms very unsuitable with tiny handles you can't pick up. Dangerous. Overall will be scrutinising reviews before coming back again. Shame. Sort food out…
As a British couple, living in Paphos, we chose to spend our 10th anniversary in ayia Napa and this hotel. We booked bed and breakfast only, and have to say the food choices were amazing. Fresh honeycomb every day, massive variety of food all nice and fresh, if you are wanting a full English then don't expect cafe equivalent, they are cooking for all nationalities. Try something different you may like it. Rooms are spotless we stayed in 212, and beds are so comfortable, the only thing lacking was an extra pillow but that's because I have 2 at home. Bathrooms modern, clean, powerful shower with got water. Staff all friendly especially at the pool bar and the entertainment lady was great too. 10 paces between the pool and beach, which has a mobility chair which can help those in a wheelchair enjoy getting into the sea, aided. This was a definite plus for anyone who's is immobile, and everywhere had ramps too for wheelchairs. They even left us a bottle of champagne and fresh fruit in the room for our anniversary which was a lovely touch. Close enought to stroll to bars and restaurants and shops x A fab location and a fab hotel…
Hotel beds were disgusting! Pubic hair in the beds along with eyelashes and pillow cases were full of fresh dirty makeup . apart from that it was okay wouldn’t recommend though not atleast if you want a nice family holiday
Just come back from the Pavla Napa after 10 days. Hotel has been refurbished since our last visit . Rooms are lovely. Beware the safe in on the bottom of the wardrobe really hard to do if you have mobility problems. We had a lovely room with a sea view. The hotel is next to the beach. Ideal location. The food was awful, breakfast eg:bacon eggs sausages beans were cold. Every morning was the same. Lunch time was the same as in the evening Luke warm meats and veg.very repetitive. I did complain to the manger but he says he tells the chefs. Nothing gets done. We won’t go back.
