cris and rainer were superb hosts, gave us good advice about the surrounding area and nothing was too much trouble. the apartments were lovely, well equipped and spotlessly clean. we loved the location , very relaxing after a day out. we hope to return in the future.

We stayed here for 5 nights at the start of July and we could not have been happier with our choice – thanks to all the reviews from Tripadvisor! We stayed in the Casetta apartment – very spacious (and 100% as described by other reviewers and the website), and it provided us with everything we needed. We visited the wine...

After a week of touring Italy it was great to arrive in this spacious accommodation and be able to spread ourselves out and do some washing. The accommodation is exactly as shown and described on their website and we felt at home there for 9 days. There is a small grocery shop in the village, plus a cheese shop and...

Having experienced the hustle and bustle of touristy Como and Bellagio this small town 10mins drive from Como is a real find. The accommodation is clean and of a high standard and all your needs catered for. The onwers are wonderful people who are warm and welcoming, and will ensure you make the most of your stay with their inside...

We had a fabulous time in Torno, and Tornoalago was just a wonderful location to be based from. We stayed in the Casetta apartment, which was the bigger of the apartments. It was fabulous - just like the photos on the website suggest. The apartment is split over two floors. Kitchen and dining area downstairs and the living room, bathroom...

We stayed here after reading the reviews on trip advisor and I could have been happier. Como is like any other town over run with people but just travel a little bit further and find Paradise. These apartments are very large the people Rainer and Christina are amazing and have just opened a wine bar downstairs from the apartment, but...

My boyfriend and I spent three nights at Tornoalago and were extremely impressed by the hospitality, impeccable service, and charm and style of the apartment. Based upon extensive research, I don't think you can find a nicer place to stay on Lake Como, especially for the extremely reasonable rate. If you are thinking of going to Lake Como, Tornoaloago is...

The appartements are really nicely decorated: a tasty blend of modernity and tradition. It's exactly as you can see it on the picture. The appartements are well equipped with all what you can need. The village it-self is very pittoresque with it's tinny "plaza" and with the small "jetty" from where you can go for a lake trip. Very well...

Magnificent place with its natural beauty and historical originality! Excellent rooms a sort of combination of modern and traditional interior. It is certainly better than living in the hotels, as here you can enjoy the feeling as you are local, not tourist. Nor far away there is the immense restaurant with a real down home atmosphere and great cooking full...

My wife and I have just returned from a week in Italy during which time we stayed at the Tornoalago self-catering apartments. We found the accomodation to be of the highest standard - the internet site is a wholly accurate reflection of what the place is like. The apartment was spotlessly clean and clearly agreat deal of thought and tlc...

“Only used the excellent wine bar here. However, local feedback about the rooms were very complimentary. Should I ever return to Torno ( and I fully intend to with my wife) I would stay here. You can not go wrong and they seem to be very reasonably priced.”
