I moved to this hotel after I had some problems with Hotel Arlberg Lech. Both hotels are owned by the same family although Almhof Schneider is more upscale. The Hotel Schneider Almhof is located above Hotel Arlberg which keeps it right near the slopes of a very good ski area of Lech but father up from the rentals and Apre...

Walking distance from the delightful village of Lech, this 90 year old family run secret is a symbol of heritage, tradition displayed through the finest contemporary mountain decor and the most impeccable service quality. Everything is there before you ask for it. MUST GO!

Even if you don't stay here it's worthwhile to visit their fine dining restaurant and the more casual "Wunderkammer" for lunch or dinner. Great interior (sophisticated, well balanced mixture of classic chalet style and contemporary design/art), great food, excellent service. Outstanding wines by the glass like a 14 years old Chardonnay from Austria (all very reasonably priced). Try the pasta...

This hotel is amazing. We have been going for the past 10 years and always look forward to our visit. We never lock our room, knowing that our belongings are safe. The service has varied over the past 10 years

Located off the main road but only a few steps away from the town center, Almhof Schneider is famous for its great ambiance and long tradition. The interior is very stylish and luxurious combining a great variety of natural materials. Food is excellent, service is devine.

Just finished our skiing trip here for my 13 year son school break. First and foremost, personnel is absolutely amazing, with the owner of the hotel, Frau Schneider taking personal care of everything around. You feel more like you are staying at friend's house, rather than at a hotel. The rooms are very cozy and well-kept, room cleaning staff remembers...

Dinner was a disappointing experience. We ordered 2 portions of the caviar priced as 64 € and the bill came out to €1550 for the caviar alone. When we asked our waiter he said he gave us 150 portions which we didn't order and his response was "we should've known the difference" my biggest issue was his response. How does...

It is quite pricey but for the money you get, great location, great food, great service and an overall great experience. I would go back anytime and would gladly recommend the hotel. The only problem with this hotel is that I am not the only one to think this which makes it hard to get a room during high season...
