We have been to several resorts in Moscow region and this one is definitely one of the best, especially the quality of food. We chose the half-board to leave some freedom for dinner. It turns out working well. The food selection in buffet is good and the quality of food is excellent. We had our dinner in the restaurant next door and it is great. The resort offers great winter activities with reasonable rental prices. Absolutely no need to bring your own because the rental equipment is of high quality as well. We had a great time there and will go back in spring/summer time.
Lovely place, well equipped spa, lake is nice in summer and sky facility is walking distance in winter. Excellent welcoming and great food. Rooms are nice and spacious Plus the atmosphere is great. Highly recommended
We've been there for 13 nights in May, and it's been a great choice. The hotel has everything: big spaces, mini zoo, little lake, a lot of organized entertainment for children and adults, good food. There's even a children's dedicated entertainment with operators in game rooms. Obviously, the hotel has also various meeting rooms for any kind of need. Great stay, we advice !
I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and service of this hotel. Maybe it was because it was outside Moscow's influence or maybe it was simply great management, but everything was so relaxed and well organised. The rooms are well maintained and spacious (plenty of space for a small family of four). The swimming pool is child friendly with lots of areas for the children to play in. The main pool is not deep so any less confident swimmers can feel comfortable and secure. There is even a sectioned off area for those swimmers who want to swim lengths. The saunas are varied and numerous (four or five different ones) and all near the swimming area. The territory is large. Plenty of kids areas with safe equipment. A small zoo to walk around and a Panda park. All in all a great weekend - we will visit again.…
Perfect Place for Family Vacation. The time which we spent was perfect, especially what we have seen - continues improvement of Tsargrad from year to year. The is perfect place if you what be out of city and job problems and be only with your family without any disturbing.
Just spend a weekend in Tsargrad. Good Points: - All the staff is well-trained, nice and friendly. It was always a pleasure to deal with them. - Room is nice (thanks for not the Soviet-style!), spacious and clean - Buffet food is very good, really above average! Enjoyed breakfasts and lunches, with a good choice and fine quality, no problems wit quantity as well. They have own farm, so it's another pleasure to eat some true food (they put a mark on their own products). You can also buy some of the farm's products to take away home (which we did). - Gym, SPA and swimming-pool areas with some 5 different kinds of saunas is a nice place to spend your time with children or on your own. - The SPA is very nice, I liked both the massage and manicure services - Animation team always has a lot of things to do. Though we didn't get into any activities, other people seemed to enjoy. What I disliked - If you choose to have your dinner a-la-carte at one of the restaurants, I would say the prices are rather high and the portions are rather small. I believe, they shall make either the portions bigger, or the rates lower. Feel unsatisfied with "haute cousine" size of the portions in a pricey country-side restaurant with own farm. Though there is an option for a buffet dinner, of course... - Bad sound isolation between the rooms. If somebody laughs loudly in the room next to yours, that can affect your sleep. Otherwise, the place is quiet and peaceful. - Lack of in-room amenities. There are no dishes / tea-spoons and etc. Tea and coffee facilities can be rented for a surcharge. And also I would appreciate cotton buds and etc. even as a mini-bar item. I know, it's a 4-star hotel, but those things are not a big deal. - A couple of times the electricity or water was out. For a short period though, but may be uncomfortable if you got stuck in the shower. Otherwise no problems with both. - The territory is rather big, but some of the passageways leads nowhere and shortens the possibilities to walk around. The underground cross to the beach was closed and out of the operation, which we found only at the other end of it, getting trough some ice and storage items. Why not to close the entrance? Anyway, the place is nice, and I'd probably be back if I want another weekend close to Moscow.…
It was my second time visiting Tsargrad and a first time in Winter. First time I stayed in the suite room in late Spring, and it was perfect. This time we booked a cottage and it was also not so bad except of temperature. It was extremely cold inside the house, so I would definitely recommend this place in Summer time, but never in Winter. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay because the rest was absolutely ok - warm welcome, helpful staff, nice location next to the river, great buffet for breakfast and lunch etc Not far from the hotel there are the national park with aurochs and an ostrich farm which can be a great fun for children. Pros: Location, service, food, parking Cons: Temperature, Lack of tableware at the kitchen, price
