I booked this bnb super short notice as my first destination on the south west coast path. The room was great and Phils help even greater: he gave me a lift to the pub, found out tide timetables to help me organize the river crossing on the next day, he helped me to find my next bnb and even gave me a lift around the river estuary early in the morning so that I was able to do the crossing in time for low tide. I am very grateful for all the help and I can highly recommend to stay here!

Our first night's accommodation walking the Coast to Coast Devon Path. Such an enjoyable stay at Phil's B&B, spotlessly clean, our twin room was roomy and so too the bathroom. Phil greeted us at the door and by the time we left he's the sort of fella you want to spend more time with. We highly recommend so do yourself a favour and book in! Thanks Phil for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing, you deserve all the accolades. Kathy & Greg, Sydney.

Best host ever! Thank you Phil for our wonderful stay. Your humour and helpfulness was much appreciated. You have managed to convince us to come back to try the north south walk sometime. Would highly recommend this bnb - a real super host!

Spotlessly clean, comfy and a great breakfast. Phil (the host) is a star - super helpful… What else could you want? Just off the South West coast path, so a great location for walkers. Wembury is very pretty with a lovely beach - well worth a visit.

Phil was a fantastic host. His house is beautifully appointed and very comfortable. He helped organise our evening meal and even drove us to the restaurant. And he cooked a lovely cheesy hammy eggy for us for breakfast - you have to try this. Phil was determined to provide a lovely stay and he went out of his way to make sure we had the best time possible.

Absolutely loved this B&B. Phil is a great host. The B&B is so well appointed, everything you need and more. Great welcome, lovely room, excellent breakfast plus a packed lunch as we were walking on the next day. We loved Phil’s stories of his navy days plus his general observations on life. He was great.

Spacious and clean rooms in a quiet area just up from Wembury. All facilities and a super breakfast with a shot of rum to celebrate the landlord’s birthday! Phil is ex-navy and full of stories. He was also kind enough to drive us to an inland pub (Mussel Inn) and back, for dinner All in all, an excellent place

Phil has a lovely home, very clean. If you've been all day on the SWCoastal Path, be prepared for a hike up into town. Phil was very generous in providing food, as the Wembury pub was not open. Lots of good cheer and conversation.
