This is such a money-grabbing hostel. They have a restaurant (the food looks great - don't get me wrong) so they conveniently close the hostel kitchen at 9pm - that's far too early for a backpackers hostel kitchen to close. Seems like it's to encourage skint backpackers to eat at their restaurant if they can't get back from a busy...

We stayed here for 3 nights. First off our trip has been booked wrong by Nomads I called reception to sort it out a gay man answered told me he was hungover and to get someone else to ring no help what so ever. Our friend then wanted a bed for the night he was told there was only a...

We had to wait a long time for checking due to a lack in housekeeping staff.. Just a few minutes away from the city center which was nice and free wifi and a decent pool. The room was just fine, nothing special.

This hostel has a fun and friendly atmosphere, staff are approachable and always happy to help. The rooms are relatively spacious (stayed in a 16 bed dorm) but the air con is awful! It didn't work and the fan was huge and hanging from the wall, very noisy so made it difficult to sleep at night. The mattress was actually...

G'Day Anna D Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us and thank you for the constructive feedback. I am not sure if you are aware but our air con units are set to come on from 9pm-4.30am and then again at 7am-10am. This is to provide comfort...

This is a party hostel! If that is what you are looking for it's awesome. They have free BBQ on some days and a club right in front of the House. Yet personally I do not enjoy to step out of the room and have to be careful to not step into anybodies vomit. The hostel doesn't have any airconditioning...

G'Day Exploring-Lisa Thank you for your constructive review. We offer a free BBQ (with the purchase of a drink) every Sunday on the bar deck area, however, on other nights we have a fully catered kitchen which offers a variety of cheap meals from burgers to steaks. Every night has a different food special on (for example Mondays are 2...

Stayed here before and after my Fraser Island tour and to be honest wasn't massively impressed! It has the potential to be a really good hostels just seems like it isn't being treated right. It's a decent location not to far from the beach about a 10 minute walk, the rooms are tidy and the showers a decent in the...

G'Day Liam R Thank you for your review. We have an ongoing battle with asking guests to clean up after themselves, especially in the kitchen area. Unfortunately some people have no respect for others who need to use the facilities. Having said that, our kitchen is cleaned several times per day after peak usage (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and is...

Overall that hostel is pretty decent apart from a couple of things. Firstly the air condition is crap, they only turn it on at 9pm and it's not very powerful at all making it unbearable to sleep in the heat. Secondly the kitchen isn't great, they have the space to make it so much better. There's one working sink to...

Stayed for three nights. Excellent fun here. The pool area is what sells this place great fun. Rooms are clean and air con at night. Nice reception with free wi fi. Would have got five stars only very little cutlery and pots in the kitchen. Security can be a bit over zealous too. Wouldn't put me off though. Highly recommended....

Noosa is a beautiful place but this hostel was a huge let down. The establishment is dirty and disorganised but the worst part by far is the staff. The staff is extremely unprepared, especially because many work for accommodation which is understandable, however what is hard to ignore is the lack of professionalism by their management. I will definitely be...

Having stayed in several Nomad locations before/since, we were looking forward to our stay in Noosa. Sadly though, this turned out to be the worst hostel of our month long travels. Our 10-bed dorm had one almost useless air con unit, and a single - albeit large and loud - fan which was fixed 2cm above the genitals of a...
