Immaculate and tastefully equipped cottages, spacious - no detail omitted. The rural garden setting near Pemberton, WA was designed to rest one’s spirit with the on-grounds beauty, but across the road from hiking in the majestic Karri Forest, and near enough to other recreational activities (like climbing the 53 m Gloucester lookout tree) and charming small towns. Set among avocado orchards and vineyards - with kangaroos and imus easy to spot - there are vineyard restaurants, fine dining opportunities, a strong art presence with exhibits in Pemberton as well as Sculpture in the Vineyards in the fall. The experience was absolutely delightful in every way - and I am eager to return for a much longer stay. The hosts were gracious, helpful, organized: Perfect hosts! Finer goods

Great cottages with absolutely everything you need for a peaceful break. The owners were friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Super clean cottages and comfy beds. I totally loved the tile fire! These cottages were about a 5 minute drive from town and convenient to many tourist spots and walking trails. Pemberton is a hidden gem!

The cottages are amazing. They’re pristine with everything you need from a well equipped kitchen to a log fire and electric blankets. They’re set in stunning surroundings with a beautiful garden with birds coming up to the little bird table outside. The hosts are incredibly warm and friendly and Paul even lent us his car to go to the shops in town because we were on the bike. We can’t recommend this place enough and we’ll definitely be back.

Paul’s cottages are the perfect get away to relax and refresh the batteries. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Every detail has been thought of, including plenty of firewood at the door to keep the fire burning and the cottage warm and cosy. Unfortunately our stay was too short and we didn’t get to try the winery at the back gate, the fabulous walks or sitting and taking in the view. The photos just don’t do it justice. We will be back and I suggest you add Big Brooke Cottages to your wish list for future holiday plans. The surrounding area is beautiful and worth exploring if you manage to leave the property.
