Unfortunately we only had one night at this wonderful resort. The birds and wildlife were amazing and the activities on offer looked very tempting. There were also great walks to be had. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant, which was superb. All staff were very friendly and helpful. If ever we come back to the area, we will... More

The location of this resort is stunning without a doubt the staff friendly and the meal in the restaurant was very good with large portions and reasonably priced. All of the above is sadly marred by the state of the rooms. The resort is notably tired and suffering from a lack of investment. Whilst our room was spacious with a... More

Lakeside rooms are simply perfect! The room is not fancy or new, but, it has a great view to the lake and the forest. We enjoyed the relaxing silence and fed lovely colorful parrots right at our balcony beside the lake. Having breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was a nice experience. All the staff were friendly. There were some... More

The Pemberton area is by no means awash with high quality accommodation for visitors to this attractive region and the Karri Valley Resort represents a good choice based largely on a lack of serious competition. The whole site is attractive with good walks and trails to explore. However the Lakeside rooms in particular are dated and merit a complete overhaul.... More

Misty mornings, pretty forest walks, delicious food, lakeside views, and much to do in Pemberton. Wineries, climbing trees, farms, art galleries, kayaking, mountain biking, etc. It's worth getting up around dawn to walk around the Lake at its quietest, with only the birdsong for company.

We had an amazing honeymoon at the Karri Valley Resort. The activity services were amazingly well priced and helpful, despite being quiet mid-week. Definitely recommend as a place to stay before the weekend crowds arrive. Great dinner venue, delicious food every night and great staff service. No phone reception, standard country TV reception.. but who needs it when you have... More

This place is a great place to see wildlife, Kangaroos, Emu's. The parrots will come to your balcony and you can feed them with seeds supplied by the resort. Room was a bit dark but they are well equipped and clean. Staff friendly and professional, food great and not bad priced. The lake is good for canoeing, fishing.

After a long day of driving from Cape Naturaliste in Dunsborough we arrived here. The grounds offer a very bushy setting with kangaroos and emus dotted here and there.
