Prices have increased dramatically since we stayed here last. A standard king room with water views was $370 (same room in Dec 2020 was $232), even with the Accor membership discount, and then they load on a credit card charge without telling you, at least not obviously. That's a bit rich considering they won't take the booking WITHOUT a CC number! And then within 24 hours of your stay your banking app says they taken $50+ MORE than your booking says. I got that sorted out when I checked in -- part was that fee for using a CC, and the other was a $50 hold on the CC in case of who knows what, which got released a few days later. This was NOT a good start to our night away and would be very offputting for international tourists. The room was neat and clean, but it was just a room, nothing particularly special about it. And the same as it was 2.5 years ago when it cost nearly $150 less. The balcony is small, but perfect for two people to sit and watch the world go by. The views over the estuary are lovely. It was quiet. At those prices, I doubt we'll be back again. I know things have gone up, but a 60% increase in 2.5 years??? That's not good business.

Hotel's Favorite
My wife and I had an overnight stay at the Sebel on a Saturday night. We've stayed here before and it again lived up to our expectations. A new thing this time was a voucher for two free drinks which we used at The Pen (adjacent restaurant/bar) for a glass of wine each while we read the paper and people watched. And we were able to get in early which we knew about because of the phonecall I received earlier in the morning. There's a luggage drop-off point in front of the hotel but we just parked in the adjoining free carpark and carried our stuff across to the hotel. Check-in was easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was one overlooking the water which was lovely. The room is large and held a comfy kingsize bed, sofa, table, chair, fridge, wardrobe, luggage rest space, tv etc. The room was clean which is always important. We also had a balcony with table and two chairs. And there was a bathroom with toilet, bench, basin and a lovely rain shower. Also very clean. There's a restaurant and large bar area as part of the building complex and they were buzzing on the Saturday afternoon. There are nice walks along the boardwalk plus boats can be hired from a spot almost outside the hotel. Also some other eating places just a short stroll away. Oh, and the hotel has a nice pool according to my wife. We would certainly stay again.

Great first night in WA. Location was very nice, close to water and lots of cafes, restaurants, shopping and walking paths. Nice apartment with everything we could want. Good spot to launch our tour of South west WA. The Peninsula Hotel downstairs is an added bonus.

Resort retreat by the water We re enjoying our few days r/r here Lovely room Wonderful helpful staff We asked for a comfy lounge chair and the following day there were two in our room which is great Spacious rooms great pool area and you can’t say enough about the sumptuous brekkie l new menu so much to chose from the access onto the boardwalk is so easy it’s great to reach nearby cafes or boat outings MY only comment would be if I compare to somewhere like a Bali resort there’s a few treats missing Like a nice shop onsite, poolside drinks even non alcoholic would be good Some water in the rooms ( they’ve removed mini bar service ) even a light lunch service salads sandwiches etc would save us walking elsewhere or getting in the car ! Breakfast should be included in the room tariff Were in an expensive room and it would have been the norm Still loved our break here especially as it’s at a quiet week so tranquil

Firstly, pay the extra and get a water view room. Right on the water great balcony with table and chairs. Ideal for afternoon drink and catch the view. Easy walking distance to many restaurants. No restaurant at the hotel but it does do a great hot breakfast

Room was clean. Bed was big and comfortable. We had a balcony and lovely views. TV was small to the side of the bed, which was a little awkward. Shower large. Iron, safe in the cupboard. The Sebel doesn't have own parking, but has free always parking opposite.

This was the first stop on our 6 week holiday and we couldn't have chosen a better hotel. From the extremely friendly staff and great location to the lovely views and wonderful bar we couldn't fault a thing. Mandurah itself is a wonderful place and this hotel is its jewel.

Located on the water, The Sebel is within walking distance to many restaurants, cafes and bars. Room is modern and spacious. Free car parking. The Pen less than a minutes walk from the lobby is a great bar with great pub food. Trolleys for bags are provided. Great value for money. Would return for sure.

Stunningly good. From the moment we arrived until the day we left this was an exceptional stay. Staff were lovely, suite was brilliant and facilities were excellent. Add to that the fantastic location, stunning views and The Pen bar won’t stay any where else in Mandurah now.

This is a modern and well located hotel. The rooms are large and very comfortable. It is located on the water, surrounded by cafes and restaurants within a short walk, and we were also lucky to spot dolphins! The breakfast is also very good. There is lots of free parking in the area around the hotel.
