Overlooking The Beautiful King River, a beautifully manicured Caravan Park. Well positioned in Albany, to take in all the amazing sights, & shops & yet away to soak up the peace and quiet. You can hire a canoe and explore along the King & Kalgan Rivers, even throw a fishing line and catch dinner, or just sit around the campfire and share stories and make memories.

Detailed Reviews
We are two Dutch women in our late 20s and absolutely loved our stay at this campsite leading to us extending our stay from three to four nights. The location is ideal, it is quiet at night (all you hear are the birds chirping), across the little river you look right into a field full of kangaroos hopping around, the kitchen, toilets and showers are always clean, and last but not least, we really liked the main hosts. They were so kind, helpful, welcoming, warm.... you name it. They made our stay complete. Very enjoyable experience. Highly recommended and would definitely come back one day.

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay & we are grateful to have the pleasure of meeting such beautiful girls. ( Who are terrific dancers- getting up and joining in when we had a gig. Was lots of fun!)

We booked a cabin for five nights and were originally disappointed we weren’t near the beach but this beautifully up kept camp site has green lush grass, and immaculate grounds. It is on the banks of the king river. The cabins were exceptionally clean, bins emptied daily. Included fresh linen and towels. The staff were always smiley and friendly. Our party hired canoes and kayaks at $40 a half day hire good value. A hidden gem. Son caught bream and herring slightly up the river from the kayaks and canoes. Bait for sale at shop. No Wifi. No bakery or daily essentials at shop but friendly accomodating staff.

Fantastic! Fantastic! Fantastic! Where to start. Have travelled Australia staying at numerous RV parks, but this one leaves others for dead.We had 6 sites booked for a ten day family getaway at Xmas 2020 this was 2 caravans bays and 4 cabins. Jacqi the owner could not of been more helpful from the very start of booking sites 12 months ago till us leaving. The cleanliness of the whole park, amenities washed 3 times daily, lawns continually mowed and maintained. Cabins cleaned and had every necessity needed. We had a caravan bay and you felt like you could breath between neighbours not squashed in like some places during peak season. This is a small park backing onto the King River approx 14kms from the center of town. The staff always had smiles and happy to chat. We could not recommend them highly enough.

We called happy campers at 5:30pm after travelling from Esperance and having no luck searching for a camp spot around Albany. Being a Saturday night we didn’t expect anyone to answer the phone but a very friendly lady answered and arranged a spot for us to park up with our trailer for the night. We were greeted by the kind lady who gave us our site key then her also very kind husband showed us to our site. The sites were impeccably clean and each had power, potable water and rubbish bins. The showers were exceptionally clean, as well as the toilets.

We had a powered site booked and we were right on the river. The amenities were spotless and there is a unisex block as well which had huge shower cubicles. Ducks visit from the river and the camp kitchen is lovely with a pot belly in there for everyone to use. The park is close to Albany but far enough away to feel like you are out of the hustle and bustle of town. There is a tavern walking distance from the park as well that does meals and there is a new shopping centre on Chester Pass Road that was great for groceries. We really enjoyed our stay at Happy Days.

I wasn't too sure about this park before we arrived but I was very pleasantly surprised. I had sent a late email a couple of days ago enquiring about a booking and surprisingly I had a call back that evening from a very friendly lady and I was instantly booked in. When we arrived the person greeting us was also very friendly and led us to our site and stopped and had a chat with us before we set up. We are happy to be on the banks of the river with our own family of ducks for company. The amenities are close by, they are very new and well maintained and we only discovered when we drove out that the camp kitchen is also quite close by. Altogether we are very happy with this booking.

Seeing how the caravan park was out the back of Albany to be honest coming in my expectations weren’t too high as all the foreshore parks were full. Upon arriving at Happy Days I was very pleasantly surprised and within minutes of parking our van felt very at home here, which doesn’t happen regularly! The park is beautifully maintained, it’s so picturesque by the river and in the end I was super glad we stayed out here as the foreshore parks were so wind affected during our stay whereas we were really protected at Happy Days.. Renee in the office was so lovely and helpful and we had a few great chats! I also recommend going to the strawberry farm that is just down the road, they had a great chai latte and amazing gelato! Our family of four would happily stay at Happy Days again!

Wow! Wonderful location right on the banks of the pretty King River. Trish & Jackie were extremely helpful, with great advice where to bush walk from the park, to see WA's beautiful Wildflowers. Would highly recommend!

With clean facilities, manicured lawns and the peace that is found away from town, Happy Days Caravan Park is well worth adding to your visit list. Located about 10 minutes from Albany town center and on the King River, this park is close to most of Albany's attractions.
We stayed at a grass river front site which was on the banks of the King River. Excellent level site, the only negative is no grey water disposal, so a bucket is required. However it is only a few meters away from a drain point, so this did not bother my wife at all (as I empty the bucket !). Sites slightly back from the river have all the features, along with concrete pad.
Note there is no wifi at this park - some would say that is a plus !
We went for 4 nights but stayed 6 and will return next time we are in the area.

Where do I start? Spent 9 nights here from Boxing Day. Greeted on arrival and told that the site we had booked was not available. We were supposed to be directly opposite friends and had booked and confirmed the site 9 months earlier. Instead they wanted to stick us behind the office in the turning circle at the other end of the park to our friends. When our friends got to their site they said the one we were supposed to be on was vacant. I went into the office and asked about it when an angry little man started yelling at me that they don't guarantee sites and that we could like it or lump it.
So long story short we ended up squeezing into our friends site so our 11 y.o son could be near his 9 y.o friend (they swag together).
They continued to re-rent out the site we had paid for. When I asked if we would receive a partial refund (as we were now doubled up on our friends site). I was told no as we'd agreed to stay there.
Fast forward to 27 Jan (yes almost 3 weeks later) I received a call from them. They were informing me that due to them receiving several noise complaints (both this year and last year, which we weren't even there for) they were cancelling our future (2 years time) booking. We we all in bed by 9pm each night as we are early risers!!
I asked why any noise complaints weren't raised with us at the time to which I was told "We think it's best we part ways".
No problem. After all of the unprofessionalism in the way we were treated originally, now this.
Never ever again!!!
