This guest house is such an enjoyable place to stay. The owners and staff are excellent at making your stay the best it possibly could be. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the DVD library is excellent for those rainy afternoons and all recommendations for food and activities are spot-on. We loved this place so much we are back again and... More

The complimentary bottle of wine, free access to port, a delicious cooked breakfast and some helpful tourist-related advice from the manager, Sarin, was only part of the appeal. The floor to ceiling artwork reproductions and the collection of old cameras gave a decidedly quirky flavour to the lovely old building. Its location near the UWA Albany campus and good restaurants... More

This was a great experience. The basics are all there : comfy beds, electric blankets. Fully furnished room - queen size and single bed. Table and chairs. Sofa. Dressing table. Lots of drawers and hanging space. My room had a small but efficient en suite bathroom. Other rooms have private bathrooms just outside the room door. On top of this... More

Needing two nights in Albany recently, I noted plenty of accommodation choices were available. The Foreshore Guest House attracted me as a very homely B&B style property located most conveniently to the main street (but not noisy), hotels for meals & drinks and a pleasant short walk to the Albany waterside attractions - all very pleasant indeed.. BUT, Kathy and... More

We were all in awe for this place. It was filled with so much history and beautiful antique cameras. Hospitality was top notch and it is highly recommended for you to experience it! Drinks and movies are available to end your night and eateries around the guest house are just simply amazing!

Stayed here for two nights in March and it's a nice little spot. More suited to the older generation but in the ideal location. The Guest House is very quaint and needs to be updated. Staff were extremely friendly, breakfast was delicious but there was something eerie (for want of a better word) that just didn't sit right with me,... More

We stayed two nights at AFGH and felt so welcomed and at home. There is such generosity in the provision of breakfast, tea and coffee, biscuits, bottle of wine and Port night cap all freely available for guests. The manager was always to hand and served us in the most friendly way. We would highly recommend this guest house to... More

We have stayed here 3 times now over the past 2 years and every time it has been a delight. Very comfortable, great service, lovely breakfasts and so close to all the town has to offer. Say hi to Sarin when you call in to check this B&B out.
