We stayed in the apartment above 21 Ferguson St. Accommodation was roomy, quiet and a perfect location to explore the surrounds and foreshore. The apartment was well equiped with fridge microwave cooking equipment etc. It's only serviced weekly. Friendly owner with loads of information. We would stay again.
Waldon't know about the current photo??? No fuss check-in with the gents. Our suite was just perfect for the short stay. What a location, steps from the magnificent waterfront of Hobsons Bay. Considering the suite was above shops on a main street it was quiet. Air conditioned very clean, with clean appliances and a great SHOWER!! The A/C did make some noise...nothing to keep you awake. Eateries galore....Italian, Japanese, Greek (won't be going there) Seafood, Chinese also several Pubs and Cafes. Next time we'll stay longer. Simmers is exceptional on all levels. Ease of booking, check-in and check-out. Gents A & P are very helpful, some great local tips and others for the drive home...or lunch on the way. Waldoeview
This is a nice only style place. I wouldn't call it a serviced apartment more like an air bnb. As there is no-one in attendance unless hardware is open. It's pretty much look after yourself .there is a washer dryer in the kitchen so you can do your towels or clothes plenty of stuff to cook with. The twin shower is very temperamental as if running both temp keeps changing from too hot to too cold. The decor is old fashioned style which suits the old rooms. Warm heater big bed but too hard for us woke up each night with aching back. Dragging your suitcase up two flights of narrow wooden stairs not really fun. But what can you say it's a 1800s house. The view stated as bay and westgate bridge is really just view of main street. Nice quiet place to stay but more of an 8 than a 9.6 Good location friendly owners although if you arrived and left when the hardware was closed you would never see anyone . It's an acquired taste depending on what you Want from accomadation.…
We stayed here 159 Ferguson Street from 17th to 27th April. Great accommodation, a short walk into Williamstown, also close to train station which takes you into Melbourne. 2 good sized bedrooms, lounge with tv, seating in lounge could be updated, good wifi, kitchen good size, good bathroom with shower. Utility room, with washing machine and dryer, used dryer but not washing machine as there is a Coin Laundry across the road open 24hrs, 7 days a week. Would stay again at 159 Ferguson Street, if still available when next we visit.
A good location but the place needs a bit of looking after. The grounds are a bit ordinary and the lounge room furniture is of the el cheapo variety. Great beds, average kitchen and the shower is a bit on the wee side. Not disappointed we stayed there.
