Beautiful B &B. Lovely cosy room, small, but cute and well appointed. The breakfast was just devine, with beautiful homemade fruits, preserves and tpped off with a cook-to-order hot breakfast which changes every day. Lovely staff, peaceful gardens to relax In with friendly chickens. If you need to "get away", I couldn't recommend it highly enough!

We stayed in the Merrijig for one night. The room had cobwebs hanging from ceiling. Paintwork on window frames was in dire need of repainting. The handles were hanging off the interior doors. There was duck tape holding the clothes rail to the ceiling as the plaster had fallen away and needed replastering. The shower and shower room was so...

Had a awesome stay here. Oldest inn in Victoria. Quirky B&B. Rooms were small yet cosy. Lovely view of the pier. Modern & clean bathrooms. Being old the floors creak but doesn't really cause any disturbance. Huge garden with adorable chickens. Would be lovely to sit out in the summer. The main area is also big & inviting. All sorts...

What a surprising place, and old in, with newer additions. Our room was comfy, the restaurant booked to capacity when we visited. Understandable as the food was really good, and the wine list brilliant in scope and quality for such an unassuming place. Recommended

The Inn is a B & B with four large rooms downstairs and small attic rooms. We stayed two nights in a spacious Queen room with its own front door and a separate sitting room with fireplace. Windows looked out onto the road although there was no road noise. In the main house there are three guest lounges, along with...

We loved our stay at the Merrijig Inn! We felt very comfortable there, like being at home, which can be hard with a baby. The staff were very warm and friendly, so accommodating and they made us feel very special. We stayed in the queen room, which was enormous, with a separate loungeroom and a fireplace. Plenty of room to...

Lovely place to stay, bed room, sitting Room, bathroom, own front door - self contained but joined to the rest of the hotel. Very quirky decoration style, large garden (but unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to sit out). Port Fairy has a great beach I expect in the summer it will be packed. We only stayed a night as...

Wow what a place and its a balance between quaint and quirky as hotel or BnB. I read the reviews prior to booking and words like Hobbit and Lord of the Rings was mentioned but so true. Its a door back to a place long forgotten but so idyllic and memorable you can't not go to Fairy Port and not...

Have stayed a couple of times now, once in a large room overlooking the garden and this time in an attic room overlooking the water. Attic rooms are small and not for the claustrophobic, but comfortable with ensuite and very cosy on a Winter night. Little touches are appreciated, and the downstairs sitting areas and small kitchenette to make tea...
