Our river view room was a bit overpriced and undersized......the king bed left little room to maneuver. However, this is a lovely spot with spacious common rooms and out-of this world breakfasts included. There is an excellent 2 mile island walk in one direction and, in another direction, there is a long, flat beach walk along a bay. Many good... More

We stayed here for 2 nights during a tour along the Gt Ocean Road in November, pre-booked from UK through Trailfinders. It was unquestionably the best place we stayed in Australia in this or 2 previous visits. I'd be tempted to agree that it is a B&B rather than a true boutique hotel (no restaurant) but of a fabulous standard.... More

We stayed just for one night (unfortunately). The staff is very friendly and nothing is too much for them. They reserved a table for dinner in a good Italian restaurant. Our room was spacious and very clean, as was the bathroom. Our bed was comfortably and slept very well. The cooked breakfast was delicous, the best we had during our... More

This is a special place to stay. Give yourself the time to enjoy it. The building is beautiful and service friendly and professional. Sitting in the lounge room enjoying a pre dinner drink was essential. Breakfast delicious and the walk along the adjacent jetty another highlight. We almost didn't stay following the two poor reviews on TripAdvisor, it wasn't pretentious... More

I agree with those who think that this is a high priced, and not very good, B&B rather than an upmarket boutique hotel. Moreover, the owners are not interested in any feedback. We stayed there over two weeks ago and when we left I sent a detailed email with what I indicated was intended to be constructive criticism since I... More

Tend to agree with other reviews that Oscar's is no more than a high end B&B that takes full advantage of its undeniable prime location in Port Fairy. In simple terms a property with a few rooms, no dining facilties only offering you a room to sleep in over night and breakfast, this in its self must surey categorise this... More

From the outside it maybe doesn't look very impressive as it is situated in a residential street but once you enter the premises you will be really amazed. We stayed in one of the Courtyard Suites which consisted of a large comfortable lounge with an electric log effect fire, warm and cold air conditioning, and a large bedroom with ensuite... More

My wife and I stayed one night and thought this was a great hotel. The location is good as the main part of Port Fairy is a short walk away and the hotel also faces a waterway where you can walk to the beach or along the waterway. The host was friiendly and helpful about the area. Our room was... More

We stayed for two nights in an annex room. Lovely professional welcome. Tidy, clean room with sitting room attached and good facilities. Amazing shortbread biscuits to go with the great coffee available all day long in the dining room attached to the terrace. The terrace itself is a lovely place to sit during either the day or the evening. Lovely... More

We stayed at this nice B&B recently for just one night, I wished we had planned to stay longer. Very quiet, excellent breakfast, and very nice home. The Internet was a decent speed and easy to use. Someone else complained about too many rules, not sure why, there were two rooms you can't go in, one being the kitchen. I... More
