This b & b is so cosy and comfortable felt just like home which was just what we needed after a day in the car. Breakfast was a good selection and heaps of it. They even set up a room speciality for my daughter was a nice little touch. Young friendly owners would definetely recommended it.

We didn't expect too much from a B&B in Port Campbell, but the Port Bayou turned out to be very lovely indeed. The owners were charming and easy-going, the room was small, but comfortable. Breakfast (cereals, jam, toast, milk, etc.) was already in our room when we arrived. Warm, homely atmosphere! It's only a short walk to shops and restaurants,...

We stayed at the cottage also. Small TV set on cupboard across he room which was a bit tricky to see, especially from one old couch. That being said. It was cleanish, simple and affordable ($115/cash only) and the lass at the reception (clearly marked in contrast to previous posts) was very friendly. Quiet night's sleep and very short stroll...

It's actually interesting to read through the previous comments about this property, having just recently returned from spending 1 night there, it goes to show you can't please everyone. I booked this without checking Trip Advisor (what was I thinking, not checking TA first?) which is why i was taken back when I first saw the property as I although...

This is a very affordable B&B that was comfortable and clean. Port Bayou has one room and one cottage available for guests. The room is an extension to the family home. A simple continental breakfast is included in your stay. I don't have anything negative to say about this B&B, it's a comfortable stay. It's just not as 'cozy and...

This place is fantastic for the price. Its just a bedroom in someone's house, so there are basically no services offered. But, the room was large and the location was close to the 12 apostles, within 10-15 minute drive. The other HUGE plus about this room is that the beds have a heated mattress that adjusts for each side of...

My boyfriend and I were wowed by the presentation of the room because it was lit up in warm lights amidst blue walls. Very beautiful with the sliding door as the main entrance and the curtains drawn apart, it looked like we were looking into a show unit. Imagine our delight when we were told that that's our room for...

We stayed at Port Bayou B & B for one night in May 2011 when traveling down the Great Ocean Road. We didn't get to see the hosts a lot, as a continental breakfast (coffee, toast, cereals, juice) had been deposited in the room already and we just met our host when we picked up the keys upon arrival. The...

The place we stayed was suitable for us, but very dirty. Cobwebs all over cabin and very dirty overall, and like others, couch smelled of wet dog. We thankfully always brin cleaning stuff with us so cleaned it up. Overall some good things, like electric blankets, but was cold and tinny.(it has tin walls). Not a ripper, but affordable ok-ness....

Pictures of the cottage and surroundings looked great on the Internet... Then I got there.. Driveway overgrown with weeds and trees.. The cottage garden not maintained at all.. A bush kept getting caught in the door. Inside was dirty.. The floor looked like it had never seen a mop. Thick dust under tv cabinet and lamp.. Like it was just...
