Found this place on a Groupon deal, was such a great offer for two nights worth. The place was clean, spacious and quiet, and had a HDMI enabled tv. The inn manager (Ashwol or Ashwin??) was really helpful.

Whilst staying in Melbourne we took a trip to Lorne by train and bus. I suppose this hotel is more of a motel and at first glance a little disappointing, but adequate for a couple of nights. It is situated next to a campsite so can be a little noisy if you want quiet. The staff were great, very friendly... More

The room was clean, but quite dated. Located right next door to a camp ground there are a couple restaurant options close by and the main street is a short walk. The neighbourhood cockatoos are very noisy in the morning.

There wasn't anything bad about this place. The room Was a good size. Had everything we needed. Everything was a bit outdated. But your not staying in Lorne to spend your time in your room. So it didn't matter. The bed was comfy. The tv worked. Kitchenette was all we needed. Had all the plates and cutlery that we needed.... More

We arrived in Lorne around lunchtime and phoned the accomodation to see if they could get us in a little bit early, their check-in time is 2pm. They told us that if we required check-in early there would be a $25 surcharge. So we decided to do some town sight seeing in the meantime. When we did check-in they wanted... More

The room was small, the bed hard, the bathroom looked cheap, the shower only accessible by stepping up and into the spa!! The room was not particularly secure and it overlooked a noisy caravan park. Poor location, not beach front, but creek front. I can't think of anyone I'd recommend it to Every thing was booked so this was last... More

We stopped overnight in Lorne on a roadtrip and picked this place. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was a good size, the kitchenette was well stocked. The bed was comfortable. The location was within walking distance to lots of restaurants and coffee shops. The only downside was that the a/c unit was quite noisy so... More

Sitting handily on roundabout in Lorne sits this unattractive motel. It is well managed by very nice couple and the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. It could do with some exterior decoration,as it looks dull and tired from the outside. Still perfectly adequate for a nights stop and handily placed for the restaurants of Lorne, and is close to good beachside... More

Fantastic location - 2 minute walk to supermarket, 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and Main Street 5 minute walk. We only drove the car once during our stay and that was to visit Apollo bay. Our room was basic, complementary tea, coffee, soap and shampoo, Bath towels were huge for a motel! (More like bath sheets) customer service... More

We stayed for one night before driving the Great Ocean Road. The hotel is within walking distance to the beach an to the village shops and restaurants. The room was clean, however a bit dated and quite dark. You have to carry your luggage up the stairs as there is no lift.
