We just spent Easter here as a family of five. We had only read the previous negative reviews the night before we left! Fortunately for us, there had been a recent change of management so we were pleasantly surprised on arrival. The two bedroom cottage (Bonnie Doon) was clean and spacious. There was a new reverse cycle heater/AC and everything...

Thank you for taking the time to offer a well balanced assessment. Yes the place is in a great location and is ideal for quiet relaxation with plenty of adventure space for kids. The water quality is terrible at the moment and we will be advising guests to bring bottled water to drink until the winter rains. The exteriors are...

Considering the fire warnings in Lorne, we rang the night before to confirm our pre-paid booking and left a message on the machine. We didn't receive any call back. We turned up the following day at 2pm to check in and couldn't find anyone. We walked around yelling out for someone, but no luck.. We called again and left a...

We stayed at the ocean view cottage as a family for a weekend and online the place looked amazing. Upon arriving we parked next to our cabin in the smallest car park known to mankind. We hoped out of the car and realised there was nothing but trees, no ocean view. When we walked along the veranda to enter the...

We stayed here for the grabd final weekend. Don't be fooled by the websites photos. It is not updated as what the place looks like now. The place was filthy and unclean. I understand it was located out in the forest amongst the beautiful trees but to know you were having guest come and stay at your accomodation and not...

The owner was quite intimidating - there was a strong smell of alcohol when we arrived. When we opened up the cottage it was filthy - the kitchen was sticky to touch. There were ants along one wall. The shower clearly had not been cleaned. The bedsheets had stains and hairs in. Have honestly not stayed in somewhere as awful...

Its a lovely place very nice to wake up and listen to all the birds. Only thing is it really in need of a good revamp was a bit nervous to get onto the deck as felt a little unsafe in the cottages . good location and very close to get over to Lorne.

Thank you for taking the time to review the cottages. Be assured that a "revamp" is very much underway, starting with a new manager for 2016.

Wow, what a stunning place. The location is second to none, the cottages are superb in every way. The views are stunning, the cottages are set right in the heart of woodlands. When we first visited, we all thought we were in Heaven. It is so beautiful. The faclities include, Tennis Courts, Babrbecue, Swimming Pool and what the Aussies term...

We stayed here recently over Easter and the views are lovely and we had no problem with Mark and felt bad for him due to the recent fire through his property but the cottages were absolutely filthy. I couldn't even sit on the couch without putting a sheet over it. The water was muddy so the spa was yuk. Filthy...

We wanted somewhere spacious away from town in the forest as a hub to explore the area while en route to Adelaide via the GOR. This place ticked the boxes Comfortable rather than luxurious but with great views over the valley.
