We stayed here for 2 nights whilst travelling the GOR. Our host Wayne was very welcoming and friendly. The whole house was very clean, the bed comfortable and an excellent double shower. There was some complimentary port and chocolates offered upon arrival which was a nice touch. Breakfast was self serve but there was a varied range of continental goods... More

Nelson's Perch is set in a perfect location within easy walking distance to town. We were warmly greeted by Wayne who immediately made us feel at home and helped us with recommendations for dinner. The whole house was spotlessly clean, we had a beautiful room with a large well equipped bathroom plus we had the added benefit of a private... More

Great location for the start of our GOR road trip. Wayne was very welcoming and the room spotless. The kitchen and dining area is very comfortable with a nice continental breakfast in the morning. It's only a 5 minute walk to the town centre and in good position to appreciate the countryside. Overall definitely worth a visit.

We booked this b&b on the basis of high Trip Advisor ratings, we were disappointed. The 'De Luxe' room was very small with little space to move around and hardly any storage. Our biggest dissapointment however was the owners asking during breakfast whether we wanted our room serviced. At $210 per night for a very small room we most certainly... More

We are extremely disappointed in this review, the use of intimidation is a very strong word, and we pride ourselves on being friendly and helpful. We also pride ourselves on our service and the reason we ask before servicing rooms is to respect guests privacy. The use of the word intimidation is highly inappropriate and we take homage to the use of... More

A warm and friendly greeting from the host - Wayne. A very fresh, modern, well priced B&B compared to others in Apollo Bay.
