We had read great reviews and agree that it was a great location. Close to a beautiful beach and only minutes to main shopping strip. However we were unable to check in at advertised time. The property had strong smell of smoke throughout. No pantry to store supplies, shopping etc. Television was complicated with multiple devices attached. Outdoor furniture was unclean, uncomfortable and full of spiders. Some windows had broken winders and would not shut. Bed was hard and very uncomfortable. Shower had no curtain and water sprayed all over the floor. Will consider other properties if returning.

We stayed for a week. Clean, got everything you need, fully equipped kitchen. Kids loved the playground and full bloom on lotus pond. Host made sure we are well looked after, enough woods for fire and provided us clear instructions on how things work. Great wifi connectivity, never dropped once. Perfect location and walking distance to the beach. Spent sunny days on the beach riding waves; cooler days sitting by fire to catch up on reading and making melted marshmallows. Catch the sunset on the deck seating area with a drink or two after a day exploring the rainforest and waterfalls nearby. Definitely keen to return, may try the one with spa next time. Room tip: Cabin 3, two bedrooms fully fitted kitchen; great view to mountains and sea for sunrise.

The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and make you feel very welcome. I highly recommend Apollo bay cottages for your next getaway.

The cottage was great size, design, clean, well equipped. The cottage was very warm, good heating, and fireplace, we were there in the midst of winter. The kitchen, furniture, spa, beds were all very good. There was a nice carport for the car, outdoor sitting area and great view overlooking the grounds and beyond. Stuart and Karen were very helpful when booking, very welcoming and friendly, providing a great caring service for their guests. Beach is 2 minutes from cottage for lovely walking.

This is our 3rd stay here which speaks for itself. Stuart and Karen were welcoming and attentive to our needs. They have modernised the cottage we stayed in and some of the others. The setting and the view is very relaxing. The unit was thoroughly cleaned to give peace of mind during this COVID time. Free bikes of good quality are available for use. There is also a fire pit down by the lake for a cosy outdoor experience. We loved the open fire in our cottage at night. Fast internet and access to streaming apps on the TV via your login.

The cottage was warm and comfortable, easy to find and access. Didn’t light the fireplace. Lots of windows and beautifully presented gardens and lawns. Smart TV was a good size with Netflix options etc. bed comfortable, sheets and linens very adequate. Good size spa. Spent 2 nights.

Location - states that it is overlooking the beach - it does not as all you can see is the location where the beach is but not overlooking. Accommodation - where to start. If you are after a cottage that was built 20-30 years ago and has never been updated since then this accommodation is for you. It has no cosy cottage feeling like you would expect from old style cottages. In fact all it offers is very dated, old fashion kitchen, front room with cheap and tasteless furniture, wooden brown ceilings, cold unattractive cemented dark tiles throughout the property and basic bedrooms with no character. Bathroom - as mentioned had cemented dark tiles throughout, so very cold inside and shower taps do not work. Kitchen - as mentioned it is very basic and dated and I did not feel comfortable in using any of the cutlery or kitchen appliances in that kitchen as they were not clean. Tidy-yes, but definitely not properly clean. Owner also asked to tidy after yourself and take all the rubbish bins out. Internet WiFi - non-existent as we tried to connect a few times and after 5 minutes it’s just throws you out. As you travel and want to connect to your family and friends and not being able to WhatsApp or FaceTime in this day and age is just unacceptable. Overall this accommodation is appallingly expensive for what it is and I would just not recommend to stay there. I have stayed in 4* hotels in various countries and claiming that this accommodation is 4* is absolutely misleading by the owner of the property.

WOW!! We have stayed at these cottages a few times over the past few years and they have been great. Now some of them have been renovated and are simply fantastic. We stayed in Cottage 1 which has been repainted, has new beds and furniture, a new stove and a huge decking and gazebo area for entertaining. The view of the ocean and grounds from the decking is spectacular. Friends stayed in Cottage 3 which has also been renovated. What an amazing wallpaper featuring a koala and pictures of other Australian animals made us feel so at home. The perfect family holiday location with the beach about 20 meters away. Definitely going back.

These cozy cottages are very nice , with wooden furniture and a wooden fireplace, boosts you to old and warm memories. Observing stars at night is a must to do . There is a nice beautiful beach in walking distance and the landscape of cottages is very attractive.

The cottage is not entirely clean. Bed sheets is never clean. One of the single beds was broken !!! Baby cot is very very old basic and without a mattress. Imagine all of this and then they charge you further for cleaning they should do in the first place. I visited apollo bay more than 7 times over the last 9 years but this is the first time I found such a disappointing services and place in a mess. I’ll definitely never coming back there but I recommend everybody else to find another accommodation that provide neat and beautiful service for your stay.
