I stayed for two wonderfully comfortable nights in the Chimney Cottage - I loved the open fire place and it really added to the olde world ambiance. My tester bed was lusciously comfortable and the home made continental breakfast a real treat. The Cottage was spotlessly clean and so very well equipped - everything one could possibly need for a...

We stayed two nights at the Chimney Cottage. The unit was very well presented and took us back in time to a bygone era. Very neat, well-kept and stocked with lots of little things that we appreciated, especially after a very busy day of travelling. Our host was very warm and friendly. She made us feel very welcome. The daily...

We had a memorable stay in Chimney Cottage despite the smoke from the western bushfires. The reception was warm and friendly, the rooms were spotless and well presented and the breakfasts featured the best homemade yoghurt, muffins and jams that we have ever eaten! We appreciated the accurate advice on the attractions of the region and it was a pleasure...

From the first phone call, you know you have found a special place. Steeped in Tasmania's history, Bowerbank Mill takes you back in time to when hospitality was all about making you feel at home. A truly extraordinary building which has been lovingly restored, and furnished with many treasures from the past. Nothing is missing - every drawer you open...

We loved Bowerbank Mill and the Deloraine area. We stayed two nights in the Meander Cottage and would have stayed longer if we weren't running on a tight schedule we had planned. My daughters loved the teddy bear room upstairs where they slept and the history of the cottage. The hosts were friendly and helpful with knowledge of the area....

We loved Bowerbank Mill and the Deloraine area so much we returned for another 3 night stay in Chimney Cottage - the hospitality and location is excellent. The breakfasts are served on beautiful crockery and local fruit is used to produce the jams. Our hosts were friendly and helpful with local knowledge. Close to the reception area there is a...

I wanted to plan a trip for my girlfriend late Oct, who just lost her mother and Fraser within 3days and a sister a few months prior . I have saved my details in this online booking service which I have used for many years. Granted the residence doesn't accept Amex which was my oversight, however should have not accepted...

This was one of our memorable stays in Tassie. Anne is a great hostess who went out of her way to assist us and ensure that we had all that one could wish for. Comfortable period accommodation with a lot of charm. However it is a little way out of town.

We stayed in the Chimney Cottage for three nights , open fire each night was very appreciated, Breakfasts were amazing and the delightful treats that Anne provided during out stay eg. chocolates, homemade cakes, port, plunger coffee, homemade jams from her own fruit in her gorgeous garden all made this a special interlude to our two week trip around Tasmania....
