We had a wonderful (but incredibly short) stay at Blake’s. But I will definitely be coming back! We actually had a late engagement in Burnie but needed to return to Hobart very early in the morning, so planned to drive part way, sleep in Deloraine only to rise early and continue to Hobart. But I love this place and I... More

Wow, what a wonderful experience to spend a night. The rooms are gorgeous and the hospitality by the hosts are exemplary from the moment you set foot in reception. Nothing is too much hassle and the kindness is extended with additional touches like complimentary cheeses, chocolates, port (yes I said port) and a fresh loaf of home made bread delivered... More

Travelled late June (Winter) with 2 couples and stayed one night. Great accommodation to stay in on the way to Cradle Mountain from Launceston. It is located right beside the main road so it is easily located. On the night of arrival, the host turned on the heater way before our arrival which was awesome as it was a very... More

Lovely overnight stay as we were passing through Deloraine. Beautiful, character filled room, great history to the building, yummy home made snacks and a warm bed. What more could a travel weary couple ask for. Some moise could be heard from the children staying next door but didn't worry us.

From the moment i phoned to book, to the check out ,the experience was restful and peaceful. With hot home made bread upon arrival, cheese platter and home made chocolates, not to mention any port in... More

My wife and I are a middle aged couple touring Tas in a campervan. We booked a one night stay at Blakes Manor in the Blakes Mews suite which is one of three in the same building on our last night before going back to the mainland. Our room was lavish and very comfortable, quite spacious and well appointed. The... More

We were here for 2 nights and simply loved it. The hosts, Rhett and Dina, made us welcome immediately and showed us to our beautiful room. The freshly baked bread was very much appreciated and the self contained kitchen was great for making breakfast, which was all provided. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
