Visited the resort recently with 3 children in tow, having been to many resorts in Australia I found this place lovely but tired. I understand the owners are working on a few teething problems, but good marketing and a few more staff could see it reach full potential. I loved the family friendly vibe and the rabbit underfoot- so did... More

The location of this resort is fabulous. The service from both the owners and resort management is excellent; nothing is too much trouble for anyone. We hired the private dinigroom for a special occason which was great. The spa is well worth a visit too! A very relaxing stay.

We came for a family weekend getaway. Great location... very peaceful and gorgeous views. Easy access to beautiful beaches. Lovely renovated apartments. Will definitely be back in Summer. I will definitely recommend it.

We stayed one night with our two children and were delighted with this very comfortable cottage. The two bedroom cottage gave us easy access to the beach in 1 minute and our hosts provided a short Penguin viewing opportunity which we really enjoyed. There's plenty to see in the Bicheno area so I'd definitely recommend staying in these cottages.

Went here on a solo break for the weekend and ended up staying 3 nights, got a great winter deal,it was lovely and peaceful with a great view out of the huge windows from my upstairs room (9) of the beautiful ocean and hills back towards St Helens one way and towards Bicheno the other and of course Diamond Island... I was here for a retreat for 8 nights. I had a blissful time swimming and walking on beach, watching the sun rise on Diamond Island and just simply taking time out. This resort has so so much potential and due to changes in managers and other workplace situations the facilities themselves have been left behind. The staff are fantastic,... More

Grounds were a little tired looking however our room was spotless, no complaints at all. Welcome was ultra friendly with the daughter of the owners being very friendly and chatty then and at the Penguin viewing. For those who complained about no room service - where in their advertisement do they say they have room service? Gorgeous beach 3 mins... More

This one was recommended by friends for the penguins and came up trumps! Just slightly underwhelming from an initial TLC/cleanliness impression, but honestly good value overall. We got the impression that minor maintenance issues were being addressed. Manager warm, friendly and very informative. Daughter Mia did good job with check-in and 'penguin parade' at nightfall. This was the quietest spot... More

So I didn't even make it to staying at this resort- we drove in from the main road, and decided we wanted to ask the Reception some questions since we were passing by, and obviously this is in a prime location of one of Bicheno's known landmarks. When I came out of the Reception (the person there was friendly and... More

We do not allow the public cars driving access to guests private area, with their children they should feel safe at all times, these silly drivers would not listen to reason. More

Very very tired. Restaurant not open, light bulbs blown, no mini bar or even water in fridge, no room service, no breakfast, broken shower fittings, mice in room. Couldn't leave quick enough. Way way too expensive. Ripped off. No apology given on approaching management for the inconvenience.
