We had the 2 Bedroom Alpine lodge right across from the water. Noisy penguins and possums right outside really made if fell like you were in the middle of nature. Heating was already on when we arrived which is such a nice touch. Kitchen had everything you would need. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of space. Good selection... More

Very accommodating hosts, warm cosy well equipped self contained town houses, great central location within walking distance of most things, fantastic playground and lake with canoes for the kids. Will definitely stay again and definitely recommend for families!

My family and I stayed here for 4 nights as central to a number of places we wanted to visit on the East Coast. We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment. Accommodation upstairs could be described as rustic. Downstairs a bedroom and shower were very modern and appear to have been added recently. Upstairs small functional kitchen and a lounge/dining.... Three older siblings and our elderly mother stayed here just for one night. Our chalet was very cosy, warm and comfortable - even had electric blankets on the beds, which were needed! Walking distance to shops and beach. The bonus was getting up at 5am to spot the incredibly noisy fairy penguins!

Our family of five stayed here in December and our biggest problem was we couldn't sleep with the racket the penguins made!!! But that was absolutely worth it for the penguin experience we had in Bicheno! We saw penguins in the playground, on the road and on the tours. Lovely easy walk to the Blowholes and the rock clambering was... More

We had a cute wee cabin overlooking the ocean. Everything was clean and tidy, the bed comfy. An easy walk to town and to the blowhole. You get an hours free internet the but connection is not reliable. Didnt really matter though. Would loved to have stayed longer.

Stayed one night in a lovely A frame cabin with one bedroom and a comfy bed. The park is set on a hilly block with plenty of trees. We had a lovely view over the water. There is a good functional kitchen, nice sized bathroom with washing facilities for clothes and a reasonable day bed with a large flat screen... More
