As I have stated in previous reviews, one can gauge the quality of an establishment through the initial contact with the owner, manager or reservation team and again I was not disappointed. All email queries were responded to quickly and even before we departed for Clare, I had that sense that I was going there to meet a friend, rather...

Despite the cold & wet weather (winter) we had a lovely couple of nights at Patly Hill Farm. The host Stephen was very friendly and helpful and certainly made us feel very welcome. Loved the view from our room and small balcony overlooking the vineyards. Had a lovely country/farm feel but cosy and good facilities.

To be greeted by Stephen and Caroline and their wonderful dogs was just the beginning of the delightful stay. Loved the extra little touches in the room. The breakfast each morning was lovely along with the change on the menu and choices. Stephen and Caroline couldn't do more to make the stay a pleasurable one. The only let down was...

Patly's Hill Farm is a great BnB just out of Clare and in a perfect place to base a weekend exploring the attractions of the Valley. We stayed 3 nights and visited Burra, Port Broughton, Martindale Hall and a selection of wineries. Patly's Hill farm is a quiet retreat with a modern feel and good amenities. It was clean and...

Stephen and Caroline are friendly and helpful hosts, the Armagh setting is peaceful and quiet, facilities are excellent, with hearty breakfast. Another feature is the gallery and gift shop. Perhaps the enduring memory is of dog 'Pepper', who placed a pine cone outside the door, and sat looking at us until we threw it for him (her?) to fetch. We...

It is always awkward to write a review that is not in line with other comments. However, after long thoughts, we felt that we had to write something about our experience. We stayed for 3 nights. When we arrived at the farm we were warmly welcomed by Caroline and her cute dogs Maggie and Pepper. Our room, the blue room,...

Hello and thank you for your comments and feedback regarding your recent stay at Patly Hill Farm. I apologise for allowing our cleaning standards of the outdoor balcony area to slip, and understand how this effected your experience. When you asked for access to the upstairs terrace, attached to another guest suite, I distinctly remember telling you that whilst I...

Loved the marmalade, loved the breakfast, loved the host, loved the dogs, loved the serenity, but most of all loved the spaciousness, comfort and decor of our room (1 of 2) which also had a tiny balcony overlooking vineyards. No fussy antiques or grandma curtains, just unusual modern furniture and quirky art pieces. Excellent.

We loved our stay at Patly Hill Farm and only wished we could have stayed longer than one night. Our hosts were lovely and prepared a delicious breakfast. They have a shop onsite that sells their own jams, olive oils etc and I can highly recommnend the marmalade - it is completely delicious - I wish we had bought more!...
