Had a wonderful stay in the Mother Superior room. The decor and atmosphere in the entire venue is amazing, and it takes one back in time. Great hospitality from our hosts. Would highly recommend this lovely B&B.

amazing weekend, great Christmas in July function too. with 6 adults having our family staying in the Attic worked out perfectly. Having your own living area to lounge in together was a bonus. the building is simply magnificent, a credit to the owners and a real landmark of Warwick.

A fantastic experience in an awesome venue. We had the Mercy Room which was ideal for a night away. The kettle was on when we arrived with chocolates to accompany our cup of tea. Electric blankets, warm robes, TV and video's, our own verandah overlooking the old school yard. It was full of charm and comfort of a five star... More

My husband and I stayed at the Abbey of the Roses for the weekend. We were greeted with a friendly smile and tour of the Abbey by Mark. Sitting in front of the lounge fire on Saturday afternoon we met the friendly cat. Our room had it's own fireplace and the king size bed was very clean and comfortable. On... More

Mark, Sonia and Bazil (in the order we met them!) run a fantastic B&B steeped in history and with wonderful little touches that make Abbey of the Roses a beautiful spot to get away - even for a short break like ours. The four-poster bed and chandelier in our room gave a romantic atmosphere - and the bed was firm... More

Thank you, Sonia and Mark [and Bazil] for making our visit so special. The Bavarian room is so lovely and I fell in love with the stained glass reflections in the room. Very caring hosts, wonderful food and so much history!

My husband and I stayed at the Abbey on the recent three-day weekend as a getaway from Brisbane. I am a lover of historical places and found this one particularly interesting. There are many beautiful original details that peacefully co-exist with a few modern updates here and there (televisions, artwork, excellent showers). The rooms are gorgeously decorated and the grounds... More
