It is a lovely and peaceful place to rest. We spend 3 nights in the lovely lavender cottage. The cottage was nice, clean and tidy. The surrounding environment is lavish and tranquil. It's one hour from snow field. Brett ( the owner) is a really nice and friendly guy. He was really helpful when our car bugged in mud that...

Fabulous location only 1 hour to the snow. We stayed in Platypus cottage which has plenty of room for 6 people (3 couples) and ohh the beds..so comfy with electric blankets we all slept well and woke to a beautiful view of the river on one side and cows on the other. The owner even lit a fire in the...

Stayed here for 4 days. Brett very welcoming. Only small downside would be no dryer, bit hard to dry your clothes when raining everyday. But very clean, comfortable & warm. Electric Blankets a great bonus & comfy lounge in front of the heater is a plus

Brett met us and showed us to our cottage - looking toward the Tumut River and overlooking two gorgeous white cedar trees. In between the rain we walked along the banks of the river and around the property. Would love to return in summer and swim! The cottage was warm with all amenities we could want and Brett was a...

We really enjoyed our stay in the Platypus 3 bedroom Cottage it had everything you could need much better than a hotel room very reasonably priced and not far from town if you want to eat out but felt a world away and the added bonus of being steps away from the long riverfront so we fished, enjoyed walking around...

Lovely views... hills, horses and landscaped gardens. The Love Shack is a romantic old villa with so many details making it easy to be in and around.. ie Fireplace,...

This quiet, farm property of several acres, has private frontage to the lovely Tumut River; just a short stroll from the cottage and trout fish to your heart's content, or sit and watch the water glide by. The old world cottages are placed to give an individual experience to each one, surrounded by lovely gardens, with relaxing views of the...

Stayed in the Azalea cottage for three nights last week whilst travelling for a week with my mum. This is a perfect place for couples, families or extended family get togethers as the cottages are nestled next to each other but completely private. We rarely heard or saw the other visitors. This isn't luxurious accommodation, but it's comfortable, clean, fully...

What a wonderful place this is to stay. I can't speak too highly of Brett and the facilities at the Camelia cottage where we stayed. It was so peaceful, spacious, clean and fully equipped with everything you need. The bird life is extraordinary and listening to them was wonderful. If you are a keen trout fisher, then this place would...

We stayed here with our 2 small children and it was just lovely. The cottages are well equipped and immaculately clean, the beds are super comfy and the environment and gardens are beautiful and relaxing. Brett went out of his way to accommodate us when we wanted to stay an extra few days because we were enjoying it so much....
