I had basement room 2 which was lovely. Beautifully decorated and brand new. Large bed (kin) with bedside tables, good lamps on each. The desk was great in that it had a lamp and a powerpoint at desk height (I hate having to climb under the desk to plug in laptop and phone plugs). Fridge was tiny, I had to...

We stayed here as it was close for my daughters appt. At the children's hospital only a 3 minute walk. The place is beautiful well looked after and our room was immaculate. Staff were really helpful and nice. Will definitely stay here in the future.

We had to find accommodation at very late notice when a family member was told to come to hospital immediately; so we didn't read any reviews, just booked due to price and proximity. We spoke with Paul on the phone and he was very helpful and explained the parking situation - not ideal but it is what it is! We...

Reservation sites advise parking reservation required, contact Lodge and told it's not by reservation but by who gets there first and unlikely parking for last night,48 rooms and 6 parking spots. Check in was easy and offered late checkout and a quiet room. Room turned out to be on the bottom floor on the Cnr of the busy room, might...

Renovations have been excellent. Staff great. We initially thought that the front corner room would be noisy but it was not. Close to bus stops, shops, UNSW and large hospitals. I particularly liked the shoe shop. Cannot comment on food spots because ate with family. Enjoyed our stay

Lodge currently being tastefully renovated so no communal kitchen nor parking. It has heaps of character and may be a better option in the future. I understand that some limited parking charged at a nominal rate is usually provided. We had to park at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Barker Street given there wasn't any untimed street parking available....

Stayed for a night when having a day at the races. The good- lovely well presented historic hotel. The rooms are a good size, well appointed and comfortable. The rooms we saw all seem to have been renovated recently and go perfectly with historic look of the building. The hotel is a short distance from Randwick race course and Coogee...

My studio room was nice, I liked the design and all small things which make difference. There was everything needed, from air conditioner to kettle and small fridge (very helpful for water). There was a renovation ongoing but it was not disturbing. The only problem for me was the street noise and vibration 24h/day, I didn't slept well because of...

It located near facilities, lots of shops around here,no worries about food. It is an old hotel, but you can choose the new building behind, it's quite cozy. The bathroom is too small. The hotel closed on 10.00 pm,
