This is the worst Motel/Hotel I've ever come across in Australia. Even remotely located regional motels in internal areas are way clean than this one. I stayed for an overnight stay and the rooms stinks with cigarette smoke. The bathroom fittings are almost 30 years old and you can see them decay. I even saw worms in the decayed fittings.... More

We stayed here overnight after a wedding, not expecting much given the other reviews. We got in after 12 midnight, and were able to check in via the hotel (had advised in advance). The man at reception was very helpful - was able to give me my room despite me being unable to find my wallet - used my wife's... More

I booked a "refurbished" room on friday. Called saturday morning to confirm my booking and was told i didn't have a room booked so i had to rebook another room. I would hate to stay in a room that hadn't been refurbished!! Got there to check in and both staff members that were there were not friendly at all. Paid... More

Great price very comfortable room with a very comfortable bed. Happy for us to check in late with fresh milk on arrival. Off street parking and very quiet location. Unfortunately was there on the only Sunday that breakfast wasn't being served but would definitely stay there again.

We booked a "standard room" here for 1 night to stay after a car event we had gone to as it was cheap and close by. Upon arrival I was totally gobsmacked, the exterior of the place looked like it hadnt been touched since the early 1800's and it was filthy, rubbish everywhere.. Lady that checked us in was nice... -Executive Style room- Stayed two nights - The room decor was basic, quality and new. The room was a decent size and typical for this design of early motor inn. Externally the hotel needs some major TLC but don't let that fool you, the staff, refurbished rooms and surrounding amenities were good. For the price you get a hotel room,... More

Well a trip to Sydney and a "want to be close to the action" was the decision to stay here at the El Toro Liverpool. Our room was neat and tidy and was a decent size. The bathroom was newly renovated but flooded every time we had showers. The bed was comfortable and the room ammenities were pretty good. There... More

We had a daughter playing state titles for softball and stayed with the team and their families in various rooms. The rooms were paid for by us but booked by the team so when I read the reviews I very apprehensive, but the rooms were small but neat, clean and seemed to have been newish. The pub attached looks rougher... More

I stayed for 4 nights because I had to be local and I as on a very low budget. Having read reviews here and elsewhere I almost didn't stay. That would have been a mistake. Yes, the motel should have been renovated 10 years ago. The rooms and furnishing are tired and shabby (and the carpet could do with a... More

Terrible for even 1 second. I am even ashamed to say I stayed there a night. It is filthy, smelly and awful. The whole place should be pulled down. All websites should let there customers know the places we book b'cos we trust them to service our requests. This is australia and we need honest info. One thing positive was... More
