Fantastic bed- slept well here, beautiful antique furniture, gas fire place in main lounge room, leather lounges, interesting art on the walls, including original owners of the property. Lovely bath nice and big with spa shoots. Good to have after a day spent walking in the wilds of the mountains, or travelling further afield. Good location. You can walk to... More

Very friendly housekeeper. It was a small guesthouse but has almost every necessary accomodations. The rooms was small, but hey, we paid only about 90 euro per nights and why you need so big room if you only need to sleep there. I like also the old style interior with a fireplace.

We stayed one night, mid week without prebooking and found the room to be comfortable and reasonably warm. The weather was wet and windy and the complementary port did help fortify us. The house is large and old with high ceilings, creeky floorboards and the usual guesthouse clutter - some love this antiquey feel. The included breakfast was quite good... More

We had the great pleasure of finding Kurrawa on our recent mid week escape to the Blue Mountains. Tucked away in a quiet street within walking distance to the main st of Katoomba or a stroll down to the 3 sisters the beautifully restored Guest house is a hidden gem. Step back in time and enjoy the ambiance of Kurrawa... More

We are delighted to hear that you had a pleasurable stay at Kurrara and that it met your expectations. The Rose Spa Suite is a good choice and perfect for an extended stay or special occasion. Glad that we could provide some R&R away from the kids, although I am sure you missed them!!! It was great to meet you... More

We stayed at this beautifully decorated and charming characterful Inn for our wedding but we're disappointed with almost everything. After entering through a cluttered and unattractive verandah we were charmed by the interior character but the house was freezing and the owners unfriendly and unwelcoming. They made a big deal of showing us the range of teas they have and... More

This 1902 original guest house is the original thing, with all the charm and presence of a past century. Added to the fact that it is spotlessly clean and generously comfortable, it is a good choice for that mountains experience. After visiting Everglades and Leuralla and staying here you can feel yourself slowing you down to the pace and quality... More

And another world it is......there is a unique quality about the Blue Mountains that seduced us into buying Kurrara 4 years ago. Then a very tired old guest house with lots of broken bits and in desperate need of a revamp, but we could see through the dust and clutter and made the brave decision to forge ahead and restore... Kurrara is a beautifully decorated guest house. We stayed for a couple of nights and felt very welcomed, warm and comfortable. As other reviewers have said the included, continental breakfast was delicious and Pru was so accommodating. We look forward to visiting again.

The English Rose Spa Suite is a great choice for an extended stay, and so lovely and warm. And as you mentioned its private sunroom that overlooks the garden, captures the rays of the northerly sun and is a lovely spot to relax, or enjoy lunch at the table. The big double spa is a must to soak tired muscles... More
